A dos años del crimen del jugador de Barracas: Señalización por el asesinato de Lucas González
El acto de memoria y homenaje al joven víctima de violencia institucional se realizó en Berazategui con gran convocatoria de familiares, amigos y vecinos, acompañados por el secretario Horacio Pietragalla y representantes provinciales y locales.
La Secretaría de Derechos Humanos descubrió esta tarde un cartel en memoria y homenaje a Lucas González, el joven de 17 años que fue asesinado por policías de civil de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires cuando volvía de entrenar con sus amigos en noviembre de 2021, en un hecho de violencia policial y racismo.
El acto tuvo lugar en el Paseo de la Memoria de Berazategui y fue organizado por la Secretaría de forma conjunta con la subsecretaría de DDHH de la Provincia de Buenos Aires y las Municipalidades de Quilmes, Berazategui; y Florencio Varela.
Durante la ceremonia el secretario Horacio Pietragalla Corti agradeció a los compañeros de Lucas, que tuvieron la valentía de acompañar y de afrontar el juicio. Además, expresó que la violencia institucional “no es una cuestión de partidos políticos, sino un problema de nuestra democracia y lo tenemos que erradicar entre todos y todas, sin importar el sello político” y subrayó: “hay que luchar contra la violencia institucional”.
Participaron también Matías Facundo Moreno, subsecretario de DDHH de la Provincia de Buenos Aires; Mariano Przybylski, director Nacional de Políticas contra la Violencia Institucional de la Secretaría de Derechos Humanos de la Nación; el intendente de Florencio Varela, Andrés Watson y el secretario de DDHH de Quilmes, Hugo Colaone.
También estuvieron presentes la legisladora porteña Lucía Campora; el secretario de Cultura de Berazategui, Federico López; y autoridades provinciales y municipales, todos acompañando a Mario “Peca” González y Cintia López, papá y mamá de Lucas; junto con sus amigos y amigas, y organismos de Derechos Humanos.
El caso
El 17 de noviembre de 2021, Lucas González volvía de entrenar en el club Barracas Central junto con sus compañeros Joaquín Zúñiga, Julián Salas y Niven Huanca y se dirigía a su hogar, en Florencio Varela, cuando un auto Nissan Tiida con policías de civil de la ciudad de Buenos Aires interceptó a los jóvenes con intención de detenerlos. Como los policías no estaban uniformados, los chicos pensaron que les querían robar e intentaron escapar. Los agentes los persiguieron y les dispararon.
La pericia sobre el cuerpo de Lucas determinó que fue asesinado por un disparo policial en la cabeza. Los sobrevivientes, Zúñiga, Salas y Huanca fueron víctimas de torturas por parte de otros agentes, que además intentaron hacer pasar el hecho como un enfrentamiento, “plantando” un arma de juguete en el auto en el que viajaban los jóvenes.
En julio de este año, por el homicidio de Lucas, fueron condenados Gabriel Alejandro Isassi, Fabián Andrés López y Juan José Nieva a prisión perpetua por homicidio quíntuplemente agravado. Además, otros seis efectivos recibieron penas de entre 4 a 8 años de prisión por los delitos de encubrimiento y de torturas contra los sobrevivientes.
La sentencia de este caso marcó un precedente al considerar el odio racial como un factor agravante. Además, también reconoció a Lucas, los sobrevivientes y sus familias como víctimas de violencia institucional.
Lucas tenía 17 años y soñaba con jugar en Primera.
