Acuerdo de cooperación entre la provincia de Buenos Aires y Cataluña
Los gobiernos de la provincia de Buenos Aires y de Cataluña firmaron este jueves un acuerdo de cooperación con el objetivo de profundizar la colaboración en ámbitos de interés mutuo. El gobernador de la provincia de Buenos Aires, Axel Kicillof, y el presidente de la Generalitat de Catalunya, Pere Aragonès, oficializaron el acuerdo en un acto en el Salón Dorado de la Casa de Gobierno en La Plata.
Después de la ceremonia, los dos jefes de gobierno mantuvieron un encuentro bilateral para compartir las oportunidades que se abren gracias a la firma de este acuerdo, que profundizará la colaboración entre los dos gobiernos en ámbitos de interés mutuo. Kicillof y Aragonès pudieron abordar las agendas de trabajo conjuntas, generar nuevas instancias de cooperación y promover internacionalmente a la provincia de Buenos Aires y Cataluña. El acuerdo de cooperación permitirá trabajar especialmente en las áreas de formación profesional, industrias culturales, la industria 4.0 y las áreas de ciencia, tecnología, investigación e innovación, entre otros ámbitos.
En ese sentido, Kicillof afirmó que “hemos tenido conversaciones profundas sobre temas de agenda, tanto de Cataluña como de la Provincia” y añadió: “Consideramos muy importante el paso que se ha dado en términos de convenios para trabajar en la cooperación de aquí en adelante, en áreas muy relevantes de nuestra provincia.”
Por su parte, Pere Aragonès destacó que “para Cataluña, con este acuerdo, la provincia de Buenos Aires es una puerta en América Latina”. El acuerdo permitirá estrechar la cooperación y poner las bases para construir una relación estable y duradera en el tiempo. Aragonès explicó que se trata de un acuerdo de cooperación “en ámbitos muy diversos, como la investigación científica, la producción industrial, los puertos, la cultura y las políticas sociales”. Y subrayó que Cataluña y Buenos Aires tienen una estructura productiva similar, ya que “son dos territorios con una clara vocación industrial, con un liderazgo y apertura internacional y con muchas posibilidades de futuro. “En un momento de cambios en la economía global es muy importante fortalecer la cooperación entre territorios como los nuestros”, concluyó.
Luego de la reunión bilateral, la comitiva catalana recorrió también el Puerto de La Plata.
En el acto de signatura estuvieron presentes el jefe de Gabinete bonaerense, Martín Insaurralde; el jefe de Asesores del Gobernador, Carlos Bianco; el subsecretario de Relaciones Internacionales e Institucionales, Mario Oporto; la consejera de Acción y Unión Europea, Exterior Meritxell Serret; el secretario de Acción Exterior, Miquel Royo; y el delegado del Gobierno de Cataluña en el Cono Sur, Josep Vives.
