Falta cada vez menos para que el Centro de Atención Primaria de Salud Jacobo Saposnik de Alejandro Korn, vuelva a retomar su actividad central, una vez que finalicen las obras de puesta en valor.
Estos trabajos están enmarcados en el Plan Estratégico de Infraestructura, a través del cual, avanzan las tareas finales de la reconstrucción total del este CAPS, que se realiza en forma articulada con los Ministerios de Salud y de Infraestructura y Servicios Públicos, respectivamente, permitiendo alcanzar a toda la comunidad con mejores servicios sanitarios y fortaleciendo el sistema de salud local, al mismo tiempo.
El Centro de Atención Primaria de la Salud, “Jacobo Saposnik”, está ubicado en Rivadavia entre Ruta 210 y la calle Laprida, en la ciudad de Alejandro Korn y es uno de los cuatro centros de salud que se están construyendo, Junto al del barrio San José, en Tosso entre Aconcagua y La Pampa, y al del barrio Villa Coll, en Pueyrredón y Moreno.
Cada CAPS contará con siete consultorios, de los cuales cinco serán destinados a la atención general, uno para atención odontológica y otro para el área de ginecología. En todos los casos, los proyectos se completan con sanitarios públicos, salas de enfermería, vacunatorios, depósito de medicamentos y salones de usos múltiples (SUM) destinados a la realización de distintas actividades de prevención comunitaria y capacitación del personal del lugar.
