Avanza el proyecto de ley para que Berazategui sea declarada “Capital Nacional del Vidrio”
El intendente de Berazategui, Juan José Mussi; y el senador por Chaco, Antonio Rodas, recorrieron cada uno de los espacios que integran el Complejo Cultural Municipal San Francisco, entre ellos, el Museo y la Escuela del Vidrio. Ambos participaron activamente en la Comisión del Honorable Senado de la Nación, a cargo del tratamiento del proyecto de ley para que Berazategui sea declarada “Capital Nacional del Vidrio”. Federico López, secretario de Cultura y Educación municipal, acompañó al Jefe Comunal en el encuentro.
Asimismo, este año se realizó la Muestra “Enrique Shaw y Berazategui, la Ciudad del Vidrio”, organizada por el senador Rodas en el marco de la propuesta de declaración del 27 de agosto (fecha del fallecimiento de Enrique Shaw) como Día Nacional de la Comunidad Empresarial, en homenaje a quien fue director general de las Cristalerías Rigolleau.
Durante la recorrida, Mussi expresó: “Berazategui tiene el primer Museo y la primera Escuela del Vidrio del país, sostenida por el Municipio, pero fundamentalmente por la comunidad y los artesanos locales, que logran generar un espacio visitado por gente de todos los países. Creemos que los antecedentes justifican la presentación de este proyecto de ley”.
Federico López, secretario de Cultura y Educación de Berazategui, comentó al respecto: “Hoy recorrimos el Museo del Vidrio con el intendente Mussi y el senador Antonio Rodas, quien lleva adelante la media sanción para que Berazategui sea Capital Nacional del Vidrio. También visitamos la Escuela del Vidrio y el Museo Histórico como parte del Complejo Municipal, ítems que unen nuestra construcción de identidad, nuestra historia. Nuestra ciudad vidriera nos identifica como comunidad. Berazategui se conformó y desarrolló en torno a las Cristalerías Rigolleau, símbolo del vidrio de donde el Municipio tomó su línea de diseño artístico y la fortaleció. En un período de su funcionamiento, su director general fue Enrique Shaw, quien está muy cerca de ser declarado Santo”.
Finalmente, destacó: “Estos fundamentos se han presentado entre muchos otros para declarar a Berazategui Capital Nacional del Vidrio y Antonio es el senador que lo lleva adelante. Dentro de muy poco habrá sesión, así que esperamos que salga la media sanción también en la Honorable Cámara de Diputados. Somos Capital Nacional del Vidrio por declaración municipal y provincial, y buscamos que también se realice a nivel nacional”.
