Cañuelas: Kicillof encabezó la presentación formal del Mercado Agroganadero
El gobernador de la provincia de Buenos Aires, Axel Kicillof, encabezó este martes el acto en el que se celebró la habilitación formal del Mercado Agroganadero (MAG) de Cañuelas, junto a la vicegobernadora Verónica Magario; el ministro de Desarrollo Agrario, Javier Rodríguez; la intendenta local, Marisa Fassi; el administrador general de Vialidad Nacional, Gustavo Arrieta; y los presidentes del mercado, Andrés Mendizábal, y de South Patagonian SA, Alejandro Metro.
En ese marco, Kicillof destacó que “la provincia de Buenos Aires le da la bienvenida al mercado agroganadero más importante de la Argentina”. “Este mercado demuestra que es falsa la supuesta contradicción entre el Estado y el sector privado: al revés, es el trabajo coordinado el que nos permite impulsar la actividad productiva hoy en Cañuelas y en toda la región”, agregó.
“Con políticas también en materia de vialidad y hábitat, la articulación pública y privada está dando lugar a las inversiones necesarias para llevar más bienestar a las y los bonaerenses”, explicó el Gobernador, al tiempo que subrayó que “vamos a seguir dando todos los pasos necesarios en este proyecto que le va a cambiar la vida a miles de personas”.
El MAG funciona en el kilómetro 88 de la Ruta Provincial Nº6, con una superficie de 110 hectáreas y una capacidad para 12 mil cabezas de ganado vacuno diarias. Su construcción demandó una inversión privada de US$20 millones con el objetivo de asumir la actividad previamente desarrollada por el Mercado de Liniers S.A. y el Mercado Nacional de Hacienda, manteniendo vigente un mercado concentrador de hacienda, formador y orientador de los precios ganaderos.
Allí operan 45 firmas y, por su volumen, funciona como referencia orientadora de los precios para hacienda de consumo, invernada y cría en todo el país. Tiene capacidad para 12 mil cabezas diarias y posibilidad de sumar en el futuro otras 6 mil.
“Este mercado simboliza la sinergia y el trabajo mancomunado entre el sector público y el privado para potenciar a Cañuelas y a toda la región”, remarcó Fassi y añadió: “Nos llena de orgullo poder acompañar a quienes eligen nuestro suelo como un espacio para radicarse, emprender y generar empleo”.
En tanto, Mendizábal expresó que “este proyecto nació con una inversión privada de 20 millones de dólares, la interacción del sector público y privado y una articulación permanente con la provincia de Buenos Aires”. Por su parte, Metro hizo hincapié en “el orgullo de acompañar proyectos que dan cuenta de la vocación y el trabajo conjunto entre lo privado y lo público”.
El MAG cuenta además con un sector de exposiciones para remates de cabañas, actividades ecuestres, festivales y ferias internacionales relacionadas con la ganadería y la agroindustria. En el marco del Proyecto Integral Polo Agrocomercial (PAC), se buscó así complementar la actividad generando espacios para que productores y proveedores de servicios puedan instalar sus operaciones en el mismo lugar, previendo así la creación de hasta 7 mil puestos de empleo.
Por último, Kicillof resaltó que “desde la provincia de Buenos Aires, cuya identidad e integración radican en la actividad productiva, vamos a seguir apostando por la producción y el trabajo”.
Firma de convenios
Durante la jornada, Kicillof y la directora ejecutiva del Organismo Provincial de Integración Social y Urbana (OPISU), Romina Barrios, suscribieron dos convenios por $40 millones: uno para la realización de 1.600 metros de veredas y cordón cuneta en el barrio La Unión II, y otro para ejecutar tareas de urbanización y mejoramiento del espacio público en el barrio Libertad.
Además, se firmó un convenio entre el Ministerio de Desarrollo Agrario y la Asociación Centro Educativo Paraje “El Deslinde” para la concesión de uso de un predio cuya finalidad es la formación educativa en el desarrollo de proyectos productivos agroecológicos.
Estuvieron presentes el jefe de Asesores del Gobernador, Carlos Bianco; la ministra de Ambiente, Daniela Vilar; el administrador general de Vialidad provincial, Hernán Y Zurieta; la secretaria de Inclusión Social del Ministerio de Desarrollo Social de la Nación, Laura Alonso; el diputado nacional Daniel Gollan; la legisladora bonaerense Natalia Sánchez Jáuregui; la presidenta de la Asociación del Centro Educativo para la Producción total N° 33 Paraje el Deslinde, Alicia Bonomi; funcionarios y funcionarias provinciales.
