Cascallares y Fabiani encabezaron una nueva entrega de 972 netbooks a estudiantes secundarios
El Municipio de Almirante Brown, en articulación con la Provincia de Buenos Aires, llevó adelante un nuevo acto de entrega de 972 Netbooks del programa Conectar Igualdad Bonaerense (CIB) a estudiantes de 14 escuelas secundarias de nuestro distrito.
La actividad fue encabezada por Mariano Cascallares y por el intendente interino de Almirante Brown, Juan Fabiani, quienes continuaron con esta iniciativa que comenzó la semana pasada y que prevé la entrega total de 5.000 netbooks a estudiantes de sexto y séptimo año de escuelas secundarias de gestión pública brownianas.
En esta oportunidad se entregaron los dispositivos tecnológicos a las escuelas secundarias N°6, N°11, N°12, N°13, N°39 y N°72 de Adrogué; las secundarias N°17, N°27 y N°78 de Burzaco; las N°64 y N° 76 de Longchamps; las N°52 y N°57 de Ministro Rivadavia y la N°50 de San José.
“Seguimos entregando Netbooks a estudiantes de escuelas secundarias de gestión estatal de Almirante Brown gracias al enorme trabajo articulado con el Gobierno de la Provincia de Buenos Aires, en el marco de un programa que inició la semana pasada junto a escuelas de todo el distrito”, destacó Mariano Cascallares.
En esa línea, subrayó que esta iniciativa apunta a “achicar la brecha digital en las juventudes mediante una herramienta tecnológica fundamental para potenciar la enseñanza y la incorporación de conocimientos”.
Fabiani, por su parte, indicó que “este programa es importante porque todos y todas merecen tener una educación de calidad adaptada a los tiempos que corren y aprovechar los beneficios de las nuevas tecnologías para aprender y también crear”.
Las netbook entregadas en el marco del programa CIB cuentan con el sistema operativo Huayra GNU/Linux, el primer sistema operativo libre desarrollado por el Estado Nacional que incluye una selección de software ideal para el trabajo en clase y mucho más.
De la actividad participaron también la directora provincial de Coordinación de Gestión Territorial Conurbano Sur, la concejala Cristina Vilotta; el secretario de Educación, Ciencia y Tecnología de Almirante Brown, Sergio Pianciola, y la presidenta del Consejo Escolar, María Marta Silva.
También la subsecretaria de Educación, Paula Falcón; la concejala a cargo del Instituto Municipal de la Juventud, Micaela Ortiz; el jefe Regional de Inspección Escolar, Leonardo Lafflitto, y la jefa Distrital de Inspección Escolar, María Inés Centurión, entre otras autoridades.
