Conectar Igualdad: Kicillof e Insaurralde entregaron más de mil netbooks a estudiantes lomenses
En el marco del programa nacional Conectar Igualdad, el gobernador de la provincia de Buenos Aires, Axel Kicillof, encabezó esta tarde junto al ministro de Educación de la Nación, Jaime Perczyk, el acto de entrega de 1.086 netbooks para estudiantes de escuelas de Lomas de Zamora. Fue en el Microestadio Parque “Eva Perón”, con la presencia del jefe de Gabinete, Martín Insaurralde; el director general de Cultura y Educación, Alberto Sileoni; y la intendenta local, Marina Lesci.
Kicillof destacó “la recuperación de este programa tan importante, que había entregado más de cinco millones de computadoras hasta que fue discontinuado por el Gobierno anterior”. “Con esta iniciativa lo que se busca es igualar oportunidades: el objetivo es que todos los chicos y las chicas partan desde el mismo lugar”, agregó.
“Este programa no solo reconoce el derecho a la educación, sino que permite que todos y todas cuenten con una computadora en sus casas para capacitarse y estudiar”, señaló el Gobernador.
Como parte de la política de inclusión digital que impulsa el Ministerio de Educación de la Nación, se distribuyeron las computadoras en beneficio de alumnos y alumnas que cursan el 2° año en 12 escuelas secundarias de Lomas de Zamora, en tanto que se prevé alcanzar en los próximos días a 5.243 estudiantes de otras 57 instituciones del distrito. Estos dispositivos se suman a los 2.248 que ya fueron entregados en otros 23 establecimientos educativos del municipio en el último año.
“Esto que está sucediendo hoy en Lomas de Zamora se replica con las y los estudiantes secundarios de cada uno de los tres mil municipios de la Argentina”, aseguró Perczyk y expresó: “Vamos a terminar el año con todos los chicos y las chicas de 2º año del secundario con sus propias computadoras y con conectividad en la totalidad de las escuelas, promoviendo la igualdad, la dignidad, la calidad educativa y el federalismo”.
Durante 2022, Conectar Igualdad ya entregó más de 496 mil netbooks en escuelas públicas de todo el país, garantizando a las y los jóvenes el acceso a las nuevas tecnologías y promoviendo la utilización de estos recursos en procesos de enseñanza y aprendizaje que permitan reducir las brechas digitales, educativas y sociales.
En tanto, Insaurralde remarcó: “Para nosotros es muy importante volver a brindarles esta herramienta de inclusión a cada uno de los chicos y las chicas de Lomas de Zamora y de la provincia”. “Esto es posible gracias a la decisión política de buscar la igualdad para que cada estudiante, no importa dónde haya nacido, tenga una computadora para arrancar desde el mismo lugar y poder achicar así la brecha digital”, indicó.
Además, la Provincia implementa el programa Escuelas Conectadas para dotar de conectividad a todas las escuelas de gestión estatal, aportando una herramienta fundamental para las trayectorias educativas de las y los estudiantes bonaerenses. La instalación de módems de conexión a internet de banda ancha alcanzará este año a las 5.500 escuelas.
Por último, Kicillof subrayó que “desde la Provincia trabajamos para complementar este programa con el objetivo de que todos los pibes y las pibas tengan acceso a sus computadoras”. “Nadie se puede quedar atrás: estamos avanzando hacia una sociedad más justa, solidaria y equitativa, es decir, hacia una sociedad mejor”, concluyó.
