Confirman dos fallecidos en el Hospital Evita Pueblo: Habrían ingerido carne y achuras en mal estado
A raíz de la información errónea que circula en redes sociales, el Hospital Evita Pueblo de Berazategui, aclara que dos pacientes masculinos adultos de 48 y 36 años fallecieron en el Hospital los días 12 y 17 de enero. Ambos ingresaron con un cuadro de diarrea y vómitos, con posterior evolución desfavorable. Los cultivos de materia fecal arrojaron la presencia de Shigella y Salmonella. Los dos afirmaron haber consumido carne y achuras días previos a la aparición de los síntomas
De esta situación fue informada la Dirección de Bromatología de la Municipalidad de Berazategui, que procedió a tomar muestras de mercadería de los comercios en los cuales los fallecidos habían comprado. Estas muestras fueron enviadas para su análisis al SENASA (Servicio Nacional de Sanidad y Calidad Agroalimentaria) e INAL (Instituto Nacional de Alimentos). También el municipio procedió a clausurar una de las carnicerías por falta de medidas de higiene.
En tanto, la Secretaría de Salud Pública e Higiene municipal informó que no se registra un aumento de casos de diarrea en los Centros de Atención Primaria de Salud (CAPS). Asimismo, el Hospital Evita Pueblo de Berazategui tampoco detectó una crecida en los pacientes ingresados con estos síntomas.
Desde el Hospital Evita Pueblo, se solicita a la población recordar la importancia de respetar las medidas de higiene y cuidado en la manipulación de los alimentos, la conservación de su cadena de frío y el correcto y frecuente lavado de manos.
Por su parte, la Municipalidad de Berazategui informa que interpondrá una denuncia penal contra quienes originaron y/u originen noticias falsas para alarmar a la población.
