El gobernador Kicillof encabezó el acto por el Día de la Policía provincial
El gobernador Axel Kicillof encabezó esta mañana el acto en conmemoración del 202° aniversario de la creación de la Policía de la Provincia de Buenos Aires, junto al ministro de Seguridad, Javier Alonso, y el rector del Instituto Universitario Policial Juan Vucetich, Sergio Berni.
En ese marco, Kicillof subrayó: “Hemos llevado adelante una inversión sin precedentes que nos permitió comenzar el camino de una profunda transformación de la Policía provincial”, y agregó: “Dejamos atrás una etapa marcada por la improvisación y le devolvimos a la Policía sus mejores prácticas, aquellas que están signadas por la planificación, la integración con otras fuerzas y el trabajo mancomunado con las autoridades de los 135 distritos”. En ese sentido, el Gobernador destacó la creación de la Fuerza Barrial de Aproximación y del Cuerpo de Policía Rural: “En la provincia de Buenos Aires no habrá ningún barrio, ninguna zona, en la que el Estado no pueda entrar para resolver los problemas de nuestros vecinos y vecinas”.
Asimismo, el Gobernador expresó que “hemos hecho ya el pedido para que todos los delitos vinculados al narcotráfico, ya sea referidos al delito complejo como aquellos de narcomenudeo, se vuelvan integrar”. “Hay que volver a unificar su tratamiento en el ámbito de la esfera federal, ya que la separación de un tema tan complicado nos deja en una situación de mayor vulnerabilidad”, añadió.
Durante el acto se entregaron reconocimientos y distinciones al personal policial que se destacó por su desempeño a lo largo del año.
Por su parte, Alonso afirmó: “Recibo un Ministerio de Seguridad que poco tiene que ver con el que recibió Sergio Berni hace cuatro años: hoy contamos con más policías, todos están equipados con chalecos antibalas y cuentan con las herramientas necesarias para patrullar y llegar a cualquier punto de la provincia”. “Hoy la Policía está de pie, activa, llega antes y acude cuando los vecinos y vecinas están bajo amenaza. Todo esto fue posible gracias a que recuperamos la disciplina, el mando y el comando”, explicó.
Por último, Kicillof remarcó: “Hoy parecen estar nuevamente en discusión los recursos que le pertenecen a la provincia y que nos permitieron dignificar el trabajo de la Policía con mejores salarios y más equipamiento”. “No vamos a permitir que, montados sobre argumentos políticos de corto plazo, arrebaten los recursos que pertenecen a nuestra fuerza policial: tenemos el compromiso de seguir peleando para brindarle una vida con más paz y tranquilidad al pueblo de la provincia de Buenos Aires”, concluyó.
Estuvieron presentes los ministros de Gobierno, Carlos Bianco; de Justicia y Derechos Humanos, Juan Martín Mena; y de Trabajo, Walter Correa; el asesor general de Gobierno, Santiago Pérez Teruel; el jefe de la Policía provincial, Javier Villar; y el subjefe, Héctor Cisneros; intendentes bonaerenses; funcionarios del Ministerio de Seguridad; legisladores y legisladoras.
