El intendente Watson y la ministra Díaz recorrieron el Hogar de Protección Integral
El intendente -Andrés Watson- junto a la ministra bonaerense de las Mujeres, Políticas de Género y Diversidad Sexual -Estela Díaz- y la subsecretaria de Desarrollo Humano del Ministerio de Desarrollo Social de la Nación -Laura Berardo- visitaron el establecimiento municipal de resguardo y asistencia interdisciplinaria a mujeres y personas LGTB+ en situaciones de violencias por razones de género.
“Un Estado presente, una labor articulada entre sus tres estamentos gubernamentales, en pos de planificar políticas públicas reflejadas hoy en este espacio, insertas en realidades concretas”, aseveró el Alcalde.
“Desde su creación en 2019, esta institución albergó a 91 residentes adultas y 53 niños, niñas y adolescentes, bajo la premisa de respaldar en ese complejo momento de salir de contextos violentos, acercándoles herramientas para nuevos proyectos de vida”, manifestó.
En tanto, Díaz enfatizó en abordar estas temáticas desde “una mirada integral”. “Acompañar el proceso de desarrollo de las personas, generar una perspectiva de futuro”, señaló.
Por su parte, Berardo apostó a “fortalecer los derechos adquiridos e ir por más”. La funcionaria a nivel federal remarcó la importancia de “garantizar las autonomías económicas, pero también las vinculadas a nuestros cuerpos”.

Las autoridades entregaron una máquina de coser y rollos de telas, insumos otorgados a la dependencia para la confección de prendas como así también capacitaciones en oficios.
También participaron del encuentro, la directora de Desarrollo Humano del Ministerio de Desarrollo Social de la Nación -Paola Rezano-; la secretaria de Desarrollo Social comunal -Laura Vivas- y la directora del HPI -Yamila Coronel-.
