El presidente Alberto Fernández firmó hoy en Luján el compromiso Ni un pibe, ni una piba menos por la droga, una campaña impulsada por la Federación de Hogares de Cristo que preside el cura José María “Pepe” Di Paola.
“Tengo un enorme respeto por los llamados curas de las villas o curas villeros, son personajes enormes, con una sensibilidad única, que a todos nos conmueve y nos compromete. Estuve muchos años enojado con la Iglesia porque la veía muy alejada de las necesidades de los pobres”, expresó el mandatario luego de rubricar el acta compromiso en el Cabildo de Luján, en el marco de las celebraciones por los 10 años de pontificado del Papa Francisco.
En este sentido indicó que Bergoglio es “el mayor líder moral y ético que el mundo tiene, que se animó a cuestionar el mundo financiero y capitalista”, que “me volvió a hacer creer en la Iglesia”, porque “comencé a ver una Iglesia lejos de la riqueza, de los poderosos, de las fortunas y cerca de los más necesitados y desposeídos” y que “esa enseñanza prendió en ustedes, sus apóstoles, que fueron capaces de hacer cosas como los Hogares de Cristo, que se ocupan de las víctimas de esta nueva forma de esclavitud, que es la droga”.
“Hoy no quise estar ausente porque la droga es un serio problema en la Argentina, más afincado en algunos lugares que en otros. El narcotráfico, como decía Cristina, es crimen organizado porque tiene la triste capacidad de corromper al Estado, las fuerzas judiciales, la política y encontrar en mecanismos corruptos las formas de corromper los distintos sectores”. No obstante, añadió: “Está claro que hay que seguir, que hay que ir y estar presente. La presencia militar y policial no es suficiente. Hace falta que desaparezcan esos corruptos que se han enquistado en el Estado y que los protegen y defienden”.
En el marco de los 40 años de la democracia el presidente reafirmó que “la democracia es el camino ideal para recuperar la paz, para terminar con los desencuentros, con los agravios, con los insultos, con las voces altisonantes. Necesita que volvamos a hablarnos y a escucharnos porque ellos lo necesitan y si no lo hacemos, ellos quedan postergados” y agregó: “Esto que estamos firmando es un compromiso hacia el futuro, debemos entender que como política de Estado debemos terminar con el narcotráfico pero también debemos auxiliar a los que han caído en el flagelo de la droga”.
“Es un imperativo moral y ético estar hoy aquí. Por ustedes y por los miles de chicos y chicas que en los Hogares de Cristo son salvados de la droga. Es un imperativo moral estar al lado del solidario. Si la Argentina se une y es más solidaria, vamos a hacer un gran país”, concluyó.
Durante la ceremonia se trasmitió un mensaje enviado por la vicepresidenta, Cristina Fernández de Kirchner y otro del propio Papa Francisco.
Por su parte, el Padre Pepe puso en valor la presencia del jefe de Estado porque, según indicó “que a un acto de este tipo venga el Presidente le da una fuerza especial”, y explicó que la convocatoria muestra cómo desde “cada espacio político se puede tomar, trabajar y transmitir a la sociedad esta problemática. Para nosotros es un tema de vida y muerte”.
“Hay mucho para hacer, por andar y creemos que se puede hacer. No nos tiene que quedar solamente el ruido de las balas de los narcos. Nos tienen que quedar, también, las ganas de un pueblo que quiere realmente transformar sus barrios en lugares donde sus chicos puedan crecer sanamente”.
Estuvieron presentes las ministras de Desarrollo Social, Victoria Tolosa Paz, y de Trabajo, Raquel “Kelly” Olmos; los ministros de Obras Públicas, Gabiel Katopodis; de Interior, Eduardo de Pedro; de Relaciones Exteriores, Comercio Internacional y Culto, Santiago Cafiero; de Educación, Jaime Perczyk; de Desarrollo Territorial y Hábitat, Santiago Maggiotti, de Cultura, Tristán Bauer; la portavoz de Presidencia, Gabriela Cerruti y el secretario de Relaciones con la Sociedad Civil y Desarrollo Comunitario, Fernando Navarro.
Además, participaron el embajador en Brasil, Daniel Scioli; el intendente local Leonardo Boto; el premio Nobel de la Paz, Adolfo Pérez Esquivel y el ex senador Federico Pinedo. Además de Jessica Monje y Nicolás Mafia, quienes se rehabilitaron y colaboran con Hogares de Cristo, quienes dieron testimonio de sus historias.
La iniciativa Ni un pibe, ni una piba menos por la droga surge del trabajo de la federación de los Hogares de Cristo, que conduce el padre Pepe Di Paola y agrupa a centros barriales que dan una respuesta integral a personas con consumos problemáticos de sustancias psicoactivas. La campaña plantea la elaboración de políticas públicas que atiendan a todas las personas que están en consumo en sus propios barrios.
