El intendente Jorge Ferraresi estuvo en el Eco Punto de Avellaneda con motivo de la presentación del primer informe de gestión del programa Argentina Recicla, a cargo de la directora nacional de Economía Popular, María Castillo, y funcionarixs de distintos niveles.
Por su parte, Ferraresi reflexionó: «Las políticas son de Estado cuando se universalizan». Y siguió: «Las políticas públicas se hacen con los recursos de los que más tienen. No sacándole a los que menos tienen».
También, los felicitó por su tarea y «porque entendieron que la lucha es colectiva».
A su turno, el presidente de la Cooperativa Recicladores Unidos, Jhonatan Castillo, agradeció la invitación y destacó que, con la creación del Eco Punto y el trabajo conjunto, «en Avellaneda, gracias a Jorge Ferraresi, esquivamos a los intermediarios». «En pocos lugares pasa lo que pasa en Avellaneda», sostuvo.
Durante la jornada, las autoridades dejaron inaugurado un salón comedor para lxs trabajadorxs.
Además, el municipio incorporó tres camiones con rampa para la recolección de material y cinco motos al programa de rutas manuales, que representan una inversión de $150 millones.
De la actividad también participó el coordinador del programa, Matías Tarando; el subsecretario de Gestión de Residuos, José Bianqueri; y el secretario de Obras Públicas, Gastón Seillan, entre otros funcionarios.
