Inauguraron obras en el Hogar de Niños Leopoldo Pereyra
El obispo de la Diócesis de Lomas de Zamora, Jorge Lugones, junto con el intendente interino de Almirante Brown, Juan Fabiani, y con Mariano Cascallares encabezaron la puesta en valor integral del patio de juegos del Hogar de Niños Leopoldo Pereyra. La jornada se llevó adelante en el establecimiento, ubicado en la calle Alvear Nº 920 de Banfield, donde las autoridades fueron recibidas por el director del lugar, Antonio Dell’Elce.
Este importante espacio de la región brinda atención personalizada a niños y niñas que se encuentran desvinculados de su familia o separados de su grupo de pertenencia hasta su egreso planificado o proyectado.
En este sentido, en dicho lugar se le brinda atención a una gran cantidad de niños y niñas de distintos barrios de Almirante Brown, por lo que, a través de un pedido realizado por la Diócesis de Lomas de Zamora, la Comuna llevó adelante una puesta en valor del patio de juegos para contribuir al enorme trabajo que se realiza allí cotidianamente.
Allí se restauraron y reubicaron los juegos existentes en la zona del patio bautizada como “Claudio Lepratti”, se provisionaron e instalaron nuevos juegos lúdicos con césped sintético y piso de caucho, se realizaron trabajos de parquización, se colocaron bancos, un mural y también una huerta con sus respectivas semillas.
Cabe destacar que la función del Hogar Pereyra es el de cubrir las necesidades básicas de dichos niños y niñas para acompañar el desarrollo de todas sus potencialidades, propiciar la adquisición de nuevas capacidades, como así también la apropiación y ampliación de derechos.
El Municipio de Lomas de Zamora, en tanto, llevó adelante una puesta en valor de las instalaciones del edificio existente.
“Para nosotros es una alegría muy grande esta mejora. Quiero agradecer enormemente a Mariano (Cascallares), a Juan (Fabiani) y a todo el equipo de Almirante Brown por contribuir a que este espacio siga creciendo y pueda realizar su labor con las infancias”, sostuvo Antonio Dell’Elce, director del Hogar Pereyra.
De la actividad participaron también el presidente del Concejo Deliberante de Almirante Brown, Nicolás Jawtuschenko; la secretaria de Desarrollo, Seguridad Social y Derechos Humanos, Bárbara Miñán; el secretario de Gestión Descentralizada, Atilio Gari, y la subsecretaria de Gestión Descentralizada, Carla Ortwein, entre otras autoridades locales y también de Lomas de Zamora.
