Jornada masiva en el Día de la Acción contra el SIDA
Como cada 1 de Diciembre, Berazategui conmemoró el Día Mundial de la Acción Contra el Sida con una gran jornada preventivo-educativa. Se realizó en el Centro Municipal de Actividades Roberto De Vicenzo y contó con la presencia del intendente municipal, Juan José Mussi; el ministro de Salud de la provincia de Buenos Aires, Nicolás Kreplak; y sus organizadores: la secretaria municipal de Políticas Socio-Educativas, Gloria Cortón; y el asesor del área, Dr. Remo Salve. Este año, el lema de ONUSIDA (Programa Conjunto de las Naciones Unidas sobre el VIH/Sida) es “Que lideren las comunidades”.
El evento comenzó con la correcaminata de 4 kilómetros “Hugo Mazzola” -en homenaje a este querido vecino, quien fue jefe Distrital de Inspección Escolar en la ciudad-, de la que participaron más de 2 mil estudiantes, docentes y directivos de las instituciones públicas y privadas del distrito. Luego, en el Centro Municipal de Actividades Roberto De Vicenzo, expusieron el trabajo realizado durante todo el año en cuanto a la prevención y la concientización sobre enfermedades de transmisión sexual. Se presentaron cinco obras de teatro -guionadas y actuadas por estudiantes- y a los ganadores del Concurso de Uso de Tecnologías Móviles en la Prevención de VIH / SIDA / ETS, que propuso la creación original de videos y memes orientados a la concientización.
Simultáneamente, funcionó un Centro de testeo rápido de VIH/Sífilis en la peatonal de Av. 14 y 147, donde se brindó el estudio gratuito, voluntario y confidencial para que la comunidad pudiera conocer su diagnóstico en solo 20 minutos.
En ese marco, el intendente Mussi destacó: “Cuando ven escrito en las paredes ‘Orgullosos de Berazategui’, es porque estamos orgullosos de nuestra gente, nuestros chicos y nuestros docentes, que nos emocionaron e hicieron reír con las obras de teatro”. Asimismo, expresó: “Agradezco la presencia del ministro de Salud, Nicolás Kreplak. También agradezco al Gobernador, Axel Kicillof, que atiende todos los días la educación y la salud en la Provincia”.
Por su parte, Kreplak aseguró: “La salud y la educación tienen que ir de la mano para tener una acción sanitaria más potente. Hay una gran cantidad de cosas que los más grandes tenemos que aprender de lo que discutieron hoy los pibes y las pibas, riéndose, jugando, poniendo arte y emocionándonos: tener empatía, acompañar, comprender y dar lo mejor de cada uno, como pasa en las escuelas todos los días”.
Asimismo, el Dr. Remo Salve aseguró: “En Berazategui no nos conformamos con hacer un acto u organizar una jornada este día. Los 1ro de Diciembre, desde hace más de 25 años, reunimos el trabajo realizado durante todo el año con los docentes, los y las estudiantes y la comunidad de Berazategui. En la década del ´80 y parte de los ´90 decíamos ´la mejor vacuna es la información´. Sin embargo, nos dimos cuenta de que no era suficiente. La mejor vacuna es la educación. Por eso, empezamos a capacitar a los y las docentes, quienes transmiten a sus estudiantes los mensajes de los que hoy vemos el resultado”, concluyó.
Guadalupe Cáceres, estudiante de la Primaria N° 24, expresó tras su participación en la jornada: “Fue muy bueno formar parte y hablar de estos temas en el colegio. Además, estoy muy contenta porque nos llevamos el primer premio en la categoría de memes, como el año pasado que también ganamos”.
