Kicillof: “No vamos a entregar la educación pública porque es un derecho que conquistó nuestro pueblo”
“En este momento en el que algunos sectores ponen en discusión el derecho a la educación, nosotros estamos inaugurando el edificio escolar número 172 en la provincia de Buenos Aires”, afirmó este miércoles el gobernador Axel Kicillof al encabezar el acto de puesta en funcionamiento del nuevo edificio del Centro Educativo Complementario (CEC) N°802 de Berisso. Fue junto al director general de Cultura y Educación, Alberto Sileoni; el intendente local, Fabián Cagliardi; y la directora de la institución, Pamela Quintero.
“Al contrario del ajuste que proponen quienes gobernaron la provincia antes que nosotros, nuestra vocación es dedicarnos a seguir inaugurando escuelas para continuar ampliando derechos”, expresó el Gobernador y resaltó: “Cuando nos hablan de vouchers, de dinamitar el Estado y del plan motosierra, lo que nos están diciendo es que piensan condenar a una vida peor a millones de bonaerenses”.
El CEC N°802 es una institución de 40 años que, a partir de una inversión de $78 millones, cuenta por primera vez con un edificio propio, lo que le permitirá aumentar su matrícula de 80 a 150 alumnos y alumnas. Las instalaciones poseen cuatro aulas, sanitarios, administración, cocina, SUM y patio, dando lugar a un polo educativo que se complementa con la Escuela Primaria N°19 y el Jardín de Infantes N°909.
En tanto, Sileoni sostuvo que “en un contexto en el que estos espacios pueden volver a estar en peligro, estamos muy emocionados porque aquí en Berisso se cumple un sueño de la comunidad educativa”. “Tenemos un sistema con una riqueza enorme, que transmite las reflexiones de la democracia y la lucha por la igualdad: nuestra tarea es acompañar a las escuelas porque allí es donde los chicos y las chicas se desarrollan, piensan y se divierten”, agregó.
“Gracias a la inversión de la Provincia hemos mejorado la infraestructura de 51 edificios escolares en nuestra ciudad y proyectamos la construcción de tres jardines de infantes”, explicó Cagliardi e indicó: “Estas obras dan cuenta de un compromiso muy grande para garantizar una educación pública de excelencia en beneficio de todos y todas las bonaerenses”.
El objetivo de este espacio es acompañar a chicos y chicas en sus trayectorias educativas a contraturno de sus escuelas de base. Al respecto, la directora Quintero remarcó: “Trabajamos con la idea de que la enseñanza también sea una forma de cuidado: todos estos años hemos luchado fervientemente para que las y los chicos no pierdan sus derechos”.
Por último, Kicillof subrayó que “no vamos a superar las dificultades restringiendo el acceso a la educación solamente a quienes la puedan pagar: los problemas que tenemos no se resuelven con menos Estado, con menos docentes y con menos auxiliares”. “Para que haya libertad, necesitamos primero garantizar que haya un poco más de igualdad: no vamos a entregar la educación pública porque es un derecho que conquistó nuestro pueblo”, concluyó.
Estuvieron presentes la ministra de Mujeres, Políticas de Género y Diversidad Sexual, Estela Díaz; el subsecretario de Infraestructura Escolar, Ariel Lambezat; el gerente de Responsabilidad Social Institucional de la Dirección de Vialidad Nacional, Juan Ignacio Mincarelli; la secretaria local de Gobierno, Aldana Iovanovich; la presidenta del Concejo Deliberante, Martina Derkos; la directora de Control Urbano, Gabriela Di Lorenzo; el titular de Anses local, Mariano Obregón; la titular del Consejo Escolar, María Inés García; los dirigentes Ignacio Bruno y Marcela de Vera; y la secretaria general de UPCN de la Provincia, Fabiola Mosquera.
