Kicillof suscribió un convenio para la puesta en valor del autódromo de Balcarce
Se realizará mediante una inversión de $550 millones y el trabajo conjunto entre la Subsecretaría de Turismo bonaerense y el municipio.
El gobernador de la provincia de Buenos Aires, Axel Kicillof, encabezó esta tarde el acto de firma de un convenio para llevar adelante el reacondicionamiento y la puesta en valor del autódromo “Juan Manuel Fangio” en el municipio de Balcarce. Fue junto al ministro de Ciencia, Producción e Innovación Tecnológica, Augusto Costa; y el subsecretario de Gestión de Peticiones y Promoción de su Abordaje Integral, Alejo Supply.
En ese marco, Kicillof destacó que “hay pocas actividades que, como el automovilismo, tengan tanto alcance y movilicen a miles de bonaerenses, uniendo la pasión, el turismo y la familia”. “Nos propusimos, desde un primer momento, la puesta en valor del autódromo de Balcarce, ya que es una verdadera joya de la provincia de Buenos Aires, tanto por el lugar donde está emplazado, por sus paisajes y su peso simbólico para el deporte”, agregó.
El autódromo quedó desafectado en 2011 tras el accidente en el que falleció el piloto Guido Falaschi. Con una inversión de $550 millones, se impulsa el trabajo articulado entre la Subsecretaría de Turismo bonaerense y el municipio para realizar tareas de mejoramiento de la seguridad en la pista para los pilotos. Además, se llevarán a cabo otras acciones tendientes a acondicionar las zonas de espectadores, accesos y estacionamientos.
“Fuimos a Balcarce, nos comprometimos a llevar adelante las obras y hoy estamos dando todos los pasos necesarios para poner en valor un espacio que trasciende la cuestión local, porque está en el corazón del automovilismo argentino y del deporte nacional”, expresó el Gobernador.
Asimismo, los objetivos del proyecto incluyen la remodelación integral del autódromo y su reposicionamiento como sede del automovilismo y motociclismo nacional; así como también la integración de las zonas complementarias para generar un desarrollo integral; la promoción de establecimientos deportivos y educativos relacionados con la industria automotriz; y la preservación de las áreas públicas y los espacios verdes existentes.
Por su parte, Costa expresó que “la puesta en valor de este autódromo trasciende lo automovilístico y tiene que ver también con potenciar turísticamente al municipio de Balcarce”. “Es una maravilla natural de la provincia de Buenos Aires que cuenta con una vista única para disfrutar más allá de la competencia deportiva”, sostuvo.
“Esto requería mucho trabajo en equipo y hemos demostrado que, pese a integrar partidos políticos distintos, podemos avanzar en las obras que van a dar un impulso productivo muy importante no solo desde lo turístico, sino también desde lo deportivo y lo cultural, al municipio de Balcarce y toda la región”, indicó el intendente Reino.
Durante la jornada, el piloto Mauricio “Cacho” Franco recibió una distinción por su extensa trayectoria dentro del automovilismo nacional.
Estuvieron presentes el jefe de Asesores del Gobernador, Carlos Bianco; el asesor general de Gobierno, Santiago Pérez Teruel; el subsecretario de Deportes, Leandro Lurati; los intendentes de Balcarce, Esteban Reino; y de Berisso, Fabián Cagliardi; la diputada nacional Agustina Propato; la legisladora provincial Natalia Sánchez Jauregui; sus pares Carlos “Cuto” Moreno y Juan Malpeli; los presidentes de ACTC, Hugo Mazzacane; de la Asociación Argentina de Volantes, Juan María Traverso; y el presidente de la Fundación Fangio, Juan José Carli; los dirigentes Marcos Di Palma, Ignacio Otegui y Carlos Kunkel; miembros de la familia Fangio; concejales y concejalas; y pilotos del automovilismo nacional.
