Kicillof y Filmus encabezaron el encuentro “Ciencia, Política y Desarrollo: Un Estado Presente”
El Gobernador y el ministro de Ciencia, Tecnología e Innovación de la Nación suscribieron una Carta Compromiso de apoyo a las políticas científicas.
El gobernador de la provincia de Buenos Aires, Axel Kicillof, suscribió este jueves con el ministro de Ciencia, Tecnología e Innovación de la Nación, Daniel Filmus, una Carta Compromiso de apoyo a las políticas científicas. Fue junto a la vicegobernadora, Verónica Magario; el ministro de Ciencia, Producción e Innovación Tecnológica bonaerense, Augusto Costa; y el subsecretario de Coordinación Institucional de la Nación, Pablo Núñez.
“La firma de este acuerdo tiene entre sus objetivos recapitular todo el esfuerzo que se ha hecho junto al Gobierno Nacional para el desarrollo de políticas públicas que impulsen la ciencia y la tecnología”, explicó Kicillof y resaltó: “Se trata también de un compromiso de futuro: necesitamos seguir por este camino que nos permite integrar el sistema científico-tecnológico y universitario con las políticas de Gobierno, ya que sin ciencia y tecnología es imposible sostener un modelo de desarrollo con inclusión social”.
La firma se dio durante el encuentro “Ciencia, Política y Desarrollo: Un Estado Presente”, que se llevó adelante en el Salón Dorado de la Casa de Gobierno con la participación de científicos y trabajadores del CONICET, universidades y otros organismos dedicados a la investigación.
En ese marco, el Gobernador subrayó: “Veníamos de cuatro años en los que la ciencia de nuestro país y de la provincia sufrieron un ataque despiadado. Tenemos el desafío de mostrar todo lo que hemos conseguido en materia de producción de conocimiento e investigación”. “En este momento bisagra de nuestra historia, quienes mejor pueden explicar no solo estos logros, sino también los riesgos a los que nos enfrentamos son las y los trabajadores de la ciencia que sufrieron el ajuste y el vaciamiento”, añadió.
Por su parte, Filmus destacó que “impulsamos un modelo que coloca al Estado como eje central de la promoción de la Ciencia y la Tecnología porque estamos convencidos de que es una herramienta fundamental para el desarrollo del país”. “En la Provincia estamos cumpliendo con un programa de inversiones que asciende a los $35 mil millones en obras de infraestructura científica, sumados a $5 mil millones en equipamiento”, expresó y afirmó: “No hay ninguna estrategia de crecimiento económico y mejora de condiciones de vida de nuestra población que no esté basada en la educación, la ciencia y la tecnología”.
Por último, Kicillof resaltó: “En la Provincia hemos transformado a la ciencia, la tecnología y la educación en políticas insignia de nuestra gestión”. “Por eso este año tenemos la obligación de defender esas políticas de cara al futuro”, concluyó.
Participaron también la ministra de Gobierno, Cristina Álvarez Rodríguez; el ministro de Salud, Nicolás Kreplak; el secretario de Planeamiento y Políticas de Ciencia, Tecnología e Innovación de la Nación, Diego Hurtado; la presidenta del CONICET, Ana Franchi; el presidente del directorio de Y-TEC, Roberto Salvarezza; el presidente de la CIC, Alejandro Villar; y el subsecretario provincial de Ciencia, Tecnología e Innovación, Federico Agüero.
Estuvieron presentes además los subsecretarios de Economía Popular, Federico Ugo; y de Asuntos Portuarios, Juan Cruz Lucero; la subsecretaria de Salud Mental, Consumos problemáticos y violencias en el ámbito de la Salud, Julieta Calmels; el diputado nacional Daniel Gollan; los intendentes de Berisso, Fabián Cagliardi; y de Navarro, Facundo Diz; la vicepresidenta Institucional de la Universidad Nacional de La Plata, Andrea Varela, concejalas y concejales.
