El Municipio de Almirante Brown lanzó la nueva aplicación de celulares “Brown Previene”, una moderna herramienta que centraliza en un solo lugar varios servicios esenciales como la utilización de las Alarmas Comunitarias, el botón de pánico y también alertar sobre cualquier emergencia o inconveniente en la vía pública con la posibilidad de incorporar audios, fotos y videos.
Los vecinos y vecinas pueden descargarla de manera gratuita a través de la tienda de aplicaciones de celulares, tanto para Android como iOS, y comenzar a utilizarla tras un breve registro que demora pocos minutos.
La nueva aplicación cuenta con varias herramientas nuevas en una sola pantalla, entre ellas la posibilidad de “solicitar ayuda” en la que apretando el botón correspondiente notifica al Centro de Operaciones Municipal (COM) para que envíen un móvil policial, bomberos, o ambulancia, a la ubicación en la que uno se encuentra, gracias al sistema de geolocalización.

Además, como principal novedad, incluye la posibilidad de presionar el botón “más” y dar aviso sobre otro tipo de emergencias, como por ejemplo árboles caídos, cables con riesgo eléctrico, accidentes o incendios. Asimismo, la nueva app permite agregar fotos, videos y audios.
“En Almirante Brown estamos constantemente pensando nuevas herramientas para potenciar el trabajo en materia preventiva y de emergencias y también acercando el Estado a los vecinos y vecinas. Por ese motivo lanzamos la nueva aplicación integral de seguridad “Brown Previene” que nuclea servicios que teníamos anteriormente y suma otros nuevos”, explicó Mariano Cascallares.
En ese sentido, sostuvo que “además de utilizar las Alarmas Comunitarias que instalamos en los barrios de todas las localidades y de enviar un alerta ante cualquier emergencia, ahora está la posibilidad de alertar sobre otras situaciones mediante imágenes, audios o videos, como por ejemplo postes y árboles caídos”.
Por su parte, el intendente interino de Almirante Brown, Juan Fabiani, invitó a los vecinos y vecinas a que se descarguen la app “Brown Previene” para “utilizarla e incorporarla en la cotidianeidad ya que es más accesible, más rápida, directa y moderna ante el surgimiento de cualquier emergencia”.
Finalmente la secretaria de Prevención y Seguridad Ciudadana, Paula Eichel, remarcó que “sabemos que cuando se trata de emergencias los segundos se hacen eternos, por eso decidimos a través de nuevas tecnologías modernizar y actualizar lo que ya venimos haciendo”.
CÓMO DESCARGARLA
Los vecinos y vecinas podrán ingresar a la Play Store o Apple Store y buscar la app “Brown Previene”. Una vez descargada, se deberá seleccionar “Registrar un nuevo usuario”, escanear el código de barras del DNI y completar algunos datos registrales.
Luego se presiona la opción “enviar código” a nuestros celulares a través de SMS o Whatsapp y una vez cargado dicha numeración a la aplicación ya está lista para ser usada. Todo en un proceso que dura algunos segundos.
