Longchamps: Cascallares y Fabiani visitaron el “Refugio de la Esperanza” en el Camino de los Flores
Luego de que el “Camino de las Flores” de Longchamps fuera declarado Paisaje Protegido por la Legislatura Provincial, Mariano Cascallares y el intendente interino de Almirante Brown, Juan Fabiani, visitaron el Centro Comunitario “Refugio de la Esperanza”, una de las instituciones impulsoras de esta importante medida que protege el área de flora y fauna nativa.
La visita se llevó adelante en el establecimiento popular ubicado en el barrio Campo Ramos de la mencionada localidad, donde Cascallares y Fabiani dialogaron con Florencia y Giuliana, referentes del refugio que permitió avanzar en el armado del informe ambiental que acompañó al proyecto convalidado por la Legislatura Bonaerense.
“Es una alegría muy grande visitar este espacio que fue tan importante para seguir cuidando el patrimonio natural, de nuestro querido Almirante Brown”, sostuvo Mariano Cascallares, quien remarcó el “enorme trabajo articulado junto con vecinos, universidades, facultades, ONGs, centros culturales, instituciones y organizaciones ambientalistas”.
El “Camino de la Esperanza” es un sector ubicado sobre la Pampa Ondulada conformado por 199 hectáreas determinado por la Ruta 16 desde la calle J. Ingenieros hasta la extensión de la calle Mercedes y desde la misma hasta la avenida Argentina siempre de Longchamps.
Allí además se encuentra la naciente del Arroyo del Rey, perteneciente a la Cuenta Matanza-Riachuelo. Son lugares relativamente altos donde las aguas de lluvia escurren hacia sectores más deprimidos formando la naciente de cursos de agua.
“Este espacio es uno de los grandes pulmones verdes silvestres dentro de Almirante Brown y del área metropolitana en general, que conserva una gran parte de la flora y la fauna autóctona con pastizales, humedales y parches de monte nativo”, añadió Cascallares.
La ley, cuya iniciativa fue presentada por la ex diputada browniana Cristina Vilotta e impulsada por Mariano Cascallares, es el resultado del aporte municipal y del trabajo conjunto entre los legisladores, las entidades protectoras del ambiente y las vecinas y los vecinos, especialmente de Longchamps.
Cabe destacar que, a partir de su declaración como Paisaje Protegido de Interés Provincial, se propicia la oportunidad de generar un trabajo articulado entre Provincia y Municipio para elaborar un Plan de Manejo Ambiental que proteja y ponga en valor las áreas declaradas espacios verdes o protegidos.
De la actividad participaron también distintas organizaciones socio ambientales que formaron parte del armado del informe ambiental que fue acompañado por el proyecto que permitió declarar al lugar como Paisaje Protegido provincial.
