Massa anunció obras de energía claves para el noroeste del país

El ministro Sergio Massa, la secretaria Flavia Royon, y el presidente de Energía Argentina, Agustín Gerez anunciaron la licitación de una obra fundamental para que las provincias del Noroeste reciban el gas de Vaca Muerta.

Con la presencia del ministro de Economía, Sergio Massa, la secretaría Energía, Flavia Royon y el presidente de ENARSA, Agustín Gerez, en la localidad cordobesa de Tío Pujio se llevó a cabo el lanzamiento de la obra “Reversión del Gasoducto Norte”.

A través de una videoconferencia también participaron del anuncio los gobernadores de Salta, Gustavo Sáenz, de Santiago del Estero, Gerardo Zamora, el gobernador electo de Jujuy, Carlos Sadir, de La Rioja, Ricardo Quintela, y de Tucumán, Juan Manzur, así como el vicegobernador de Catamarca, Rubén Dusso.

En este marco, el titular del Palacio de Hacienda destacó la importancia de la obra y aseguró que permitirá “cuidar los dólares de las reservas fomentar y promover el trabajo argentino, garantizando abastecimiento energético y abaratando costos”.

Asimismo, el Ministro agradeció la presencia de los gobernadores electos. “Muestra que esto es una política de Estado. Valoramos enormemente a aquellos que entienden que hay cuestiones que no son del combate político electoral, que son del desarrollo de la Argentina”.

Finalmente, el titular de Economía anticipó que “lo que viene para la Argentina es desarrollo, inclusión, construcción de un país federal en la suma de capital y trabajo”. “A eso tenemos que invitar a todos los argentinos, entendiendo que, a partir del 10 de diciembre, terminada la campaña electoral, viene el tiempo de abrazar a todos y convocar a un gobierno de unidad nacional”, concluyó.

Las tareas de reversión implicarán el cambio de dirección del flujo gasífero, que pasará de ser norte-sur a sur-norte, de esta forma el gas de Vaca Muerta abastecerá al Norte argentino y garantizará la energía que la región necesita para sus habitantes y su diversificación industrial.

Sobre su importancia la secretaria de Energía afirmó: “Esta es una obra que nos habla de futuro, de crecimiento, de infraestructura energética que posibilita el desarrollo del norte del país. Va a generar casi 15.000 puestos de trabajo, entre directos e indirectos”.

Royon también enfatizó la necesidad de resolver cualquier eventualidad en relación al suministro de gas de esas provincias por lo cual la Reversión “fue priorizada, antes que el segundo tramo del gasoducto Kirchner, porque era realmente urgente. Esto es inmediato para el norte argentino. Necesitamos resolver el invierno que viene de manera urgente”. Y concluyó: “Argentina se encamina hacia el autoabastecimiento y esta obra, una vez más, confirma la visión federal y de desarrollo que tiene el ministro Sergio Massa para todo el país.

A su turno, Agustín Gerez resaltó que “este proyecto es más oportunidades para los argentinos y mayormente más soberanía energética” porque va a “asegurar el suministro de gas en la región norte del país con producción local”. Además, agradeció a las autoridades de la CAF que “han confiado a través del crédito de 540 millones de dólares para que nosotros podamos iniciar una nueva etapa en el desarrollo de la infraestructura energética”.

“Además de transportar gas y unir comunidades, este proyecto simboliza el compromiso con el futuro porque, como dice el ministro Massa, este no es un proyecto para un gobierno, es un proyecto para un país”, resaltó el funcionario.

Junto con las autoridades nacionales y provinciales el acto contó con la presencia de la intendenta de Tío Pujio, Nancy Schiavi y su par de Villa María, Martín Gil, además de legisladores, representantes gremiales y autoridades empresarias.

Las obras demandarán una inversión de 710 millones de dólares, gran parte de la cual se cubre con un crédito del Banco de Desarrollo para América Latina y el Caribe (CAF), con un aporte de 540 millones de dólares.

El conjunto de los trabajos consiste en la construcción de un nuevo ducto de 122 km de extensión entre las localidades de Tío Pujio y La Carlota (Córdoba) para el que se utilizarán caños de 36 pulgadas de diámetro y 2 loops (ampliaciones) de 62 km junto al Gasoducto Norte, con caños de 30 pulgadas de diámetro. A su vez, se realizará la reversión del sentido de inyección del gas en 4 plantas compresoras existentes en Córdoba, Santiago del Estero y Salta.

La Reversión del Gasoducto Norte llevará el gas de Vaca Muerta a las industrias de Córdoba, Tucumán, La Rioja, Catamarca, Santiago del Estero, Salta y Jujuy. También permitirá la conexión de hogares a las redes de gas natural y el desarrollo a escala de nuevas actividades industriales, especialmente la minería de litio.

En forma complementaria la Reversión impactará en una baja del costo de generación eléctrica y del gas natural para las industrias de la región. Además viabilizará la realización de exportaciones hacia el norte de Chile, al centro de Brasil y a Bolivia.

Con su habilitación prevista para antes del invierno 2024, gracias a esta obra se generarán 3.000 puestos de trabajo directos, 12.000 indirectos y el país obtendrá un ahorro anual de 1.960 millones de dólares.
