Mayra Mendoza aseguró que van a superar las 1000 obras durante su gestión
La Intendenta de Quilmes, Mayra Mendoza, abrió el 141º período de sesiones ordinarias del Honorable Concejo Deliberante local, en el que hizo un repaso de las “más de 1.000 obras” que se llevaron adelante durante su gestión.
“Me enorgullece decirles que en esta gestión vamos a superar las 1.000 obras. Más de 1.000 obras que transforman nuestra ciudad y mejoran la calidad de vida de quienes la habitamos. Cuando recorremos el distrito notamos lo cambiado que está. Porque estamos haciendo más obras que nunca en la historia de Quilmes”, afirmó Mayra, en el auditorio del predio del Sindicato del Plástico, en Quilmes Oeste.
Entre las obras que destacó la Intendenta se encuentra el Plan de Pavimentos, que abarca la pavimentación de más de 800 cuadras en todo el distrito, como por ejemplo en Ezpeleta Oeste, Solano, Bernal Oeste, La Florida, La Ribera y Quilmes Oeste.
“Nuestro objetivo es que las obras de pavimento se conviertan en una política de largo plazo para llevar, de una vez por todas, dignidad e igualdad a todos los barrios. Si nuestros vecinos y vecinas nos acompañan, no vamos a parar hasta pavimentar todas las calles de Quilmes. Porque ya demostramos que podemos hacerlo. Porque con más tiempo vamos a poder mostrar muchos más resultados”, destacó la Intendenta.
Entre otras obras, Mayra señaló las mejoras en plazas y espacios verdes, la construcción de 5 Centros de Desarrollo Infantil, y las obras en la totalidad de los establecimientos educativos del distrito. También mencionó la construcción de más de 900 viviendas, de 3 nuevos polideportivos, y de la nueva estación de tren entre Quilmes y Ezpeleta.
Además, destacó la importante mejora de la recolección de residuos, que con la triplicación de la flota de camiones -pasó de 15 a más de 50- y la modernización del sistema, ahora puede juntar las 600 toneladas que se producen diariamente en Quilmes. Y aseguró que, una vez que la obra del nuevo Ecoparque finalice, este complejo hará aún más eficiente el sistema, permitiendo que los camiones estén más tiempo recorriendo las calles.
A su vez, Mayra remarcó otras políticas importantes de su gestión como la puesta a nuevo de 27 plazas y el mantenimiento regular de todos los espacios verdes del distrito; las obras de renovación en el Hospital de Solano y en el Hospital Iriarte; y las medidas de incentivo a la producción, el trabajo y el consumo.
La Jefa comunal indicó lo mucho que se hizo en estos años, reconoció que aún quedan cosas por hacer y les pidió a los quilmeños y quilmeñas que la acompañen en la continuidad del proyecto de gestión.
Por otro lado, la Intendenta se refirió a la inseguridad e insistió en el pedido de mayor presencia policial. Teniendo en cuenta que la Nación y la Provincia tienen el manejo de las fuerzas de seguridad, solicitó más efectivos en Quilmes. También le pidió al Poder Judicial que cumpla con su deber y aplique el máximo rigor contra los delincuentes, y sostuvo: “queremos que los laburantes vivan tranquilos y que los delincuentes estén en la cárcel. Y vamos a hacer todo lo que esté en nuestras manos para prevenir estos hechos horribles, y para que quienes roben, hieran o maten tengan su condena”.
En Quilmes, durante la gestión de Mayra Mendoza se hizo una inversión histórica e inédita en materia de seguridad con el Plan de Inversión Municipal para la Prevención del Delito. En ese marco, se adquirieron 180 vehículos que fueron cedidos a la Policía de la Provincia para que patrulle las calles las 24 horas; se están instalando luces LED, que alcanzarán un total de más de 50.000; se están colocando nuevas cámaras de seguridad, para llegar a más de 1.500; se construyeron 170 paradas seguras, con botón de llamada al CEQ; y se están instalando 1.000 alarmas vecinales, entre otras medidas. “Las luces LED están, los patrulleros están, las motos están, las cámaras y las alarmas están”, remarcó la Jefa comunal en referencia a este programa.
Por último, Mayra cerró con un mensaje a los vecinos y vecinas, asegurando que “estos 4 años, esta primera gestión, son las bases de la transformación. Necesitamos más tiempo para hacer todo lo que hay que hacer. Necesitamos que los vecinos nos sigan acompañando. Que no nos juzguen por prejuicios sino por los resultados de nuestra gestión. Este año es un año electoral. Este año los vecinos van a elegir si continuamos a cargo del gobierno municipal. Quiero decirles que elijan lo que elijan, no permitan que se haga menos. Sigan exigiendo. Sigan reclamando. Sigan marcando las prioridades. Nosotras, demostramos que es posible, y que para nuestro proyecto es sólo el comienzo. Nunca más gobiernos antipopulares. Defiéndanse con su derecho a elegir y que no vuelvan aquellos que los miran con la nuca. Nunca menos. Siempre para adelante”.
Estuvieron presentes vecinos, vecinas, representantes de instituciones y organizaciones; concejales y concejalas del oficialismo y de la oposición; la intendenta de Cañuelas, Marisa Fassi; la diputada provincial Berenice Latorre, y el senador provincial Emmanuel González Santalla, entre otros.
