La Subsecretaría de Recursos Hídricos, dependiente del Ministerio de Infraestructura y Servicios Públicos de la provincia de Buenos Aires, licitó la obra: “Desagües pluviales en Florencio Varela, Barrios Bosques Norte y Ricardo Rojas”, cuyo presupuesto oficial supera los 3.350 millones de pesos.
Los trabajos de saneamiento se enmarcan en las cuencas Bosques Norte y Ricardo Rojas, ubicadas en el Partido de Florencio Varela, cuya superficie se encuentra urbanizada y con problemas de orden hídrico debido a la carencia de un sistema de desagües pluviales que permita captar y transportar los escurrimientos superficiales hacia el Canal San Juan.
Por lo tanto se propone un diseño de redes de desagües pluviales que brinden la capacidad necesaria para evacuar los excedentes de las cuencas, disminuyendo los frecuentes anegamientos que provocan daños en las viviendas e infraestructura de servicio,brindando una mejor calidad de vida a toda la población
Cabe destacar que la cuenca Bosques Norte abarca unas 94 hectáreas, mientras que la Ricardo Rojas unas 147. Ambas se encuentran dentro de la localidad Bosques del partido de Florencio Varela.
Al respecto, el Subsecretario de Recursos Hídricos, Guillermo Jelinski expresó: “ Son más de 150 manzanas que van a quedar con saneamiento hidráulico en una zona muy importante de la localidad y que beneficia a 30 mil vecinos”.
