Cascallares entregó 912 netbooks a estudiantes secundarios de Almirante Brown
El Municipio de Almirante Brown inició la entrega de un total de 5 mil netbooks del programa Conectar Igualdad Bonaerense (CIB), en articulación con el Gobierno de la Provincia de Buenos Aires, con un acto realizado en el Polideportivo de Ministro Rivadavia junto a estudiantes de 19 escuelas secundarias de nuestro distrito.
La jornada fue encabezada por Mariano Cascallares, quien dio inicio al primero de cinco encuentros que se llevarán adelante en las próximas semanas y en esta oportunidad entregó 912 netbooks a alumnos y alumnas de sexto y séptimo año de escuelas secundarias de gestión pública brownianas.
Lo acompañaron la subsecretaria de Coordinación de la Gestión Territorial de la Jefatura de Ministros bonaerense, Fabiana Bertino; la directora provincial de Coordinación de Gestión Territorial Conurbano Sur, la concejala Cristina Vilotta, y el secretario de Educación, Ciencia y Tecnología de Almirante Brown, Sergio Pianciola.
“Estamos muy contentos poniendo en marcha la entrega de estas netbooks junto con el Gobierno de la Provincia de Buenos Aires, en lo que es una de las cinco jornadas que replicaremos en las próximas semanas para acercar este dispositivo tecnológico tan importante a nuestros estudiantes. Se trata de una herramienta fundamental para potenciar la educación”, remarcó Mariano Cascallares.
En esa línea, subrayó: “hay un programa nacional que es Conectar Igualdad, hay un programa provincial, que es este: Conectar Igualdad Bonaerense, y hay otro que en los próximos días estaremos empezando a entregar que es Conectar Igualdad de Almirante Brown con la idea de llegar a mayor cantidad de chicos en el menor tiempo posible”, aseguró.
Bertino, en tanto, sostuvo que “todas las políticas públicas del Gobierno Bonaerense están pensadas para y por ustedes (los jóvenes), con mucho amor porque son el presente y el futuro”.
Las escuelas que serán beneficiadas con esta iniciativa tan importante que apunta a achicar la brecha digital se encuentran la Escuela Técnica N° 1, de Longchamps y las escuelas secundarias N°18 y N°69, de Adrogué; junto con las N°38, N°56, la N°24 y el anexo de la 24 de Burzaco.
También las escuelas secundarias N°14, N°19 y N°30, de Claypole; la N°55, de Glew, la N°31, de José Mármol; las N°45, N°70 y N°80, de Longchamps; la N°35, de Ministro Rivadavia, la N°71, de Rafael Calzada y la N°15, de San José.
Las netbook entregadas en el marco del programa CIB cuentan con el sistema operativo Huayra GNU/Linux, el primer sistema operativo libre desarrollado por el Estado Nacional que incluye una selección de software ideal para el trabajo en clase y mucho más.
De la actividad participaron también la presidenta del Consejo Escolar, María Marta Silva; la subsecretaria de Educación, Paula Falcón; el director General de Relaciones Institucionales Educativas, Ezequiel Mars; el jefe Regional de Inspección Escolar, Leonardo Lafflitto, y la jefa Distrital de Inspección Escolar, María Inés Centurión, entre otras autoridades.
