Charla y debate político: “40 años de democracia. Experiencias y desafíos del campo nacional y popular en Quilmes, la provincia de Bs. As. y la Nación”.
“No hay nadie que sea el dueño de la verdad absoluta; tenemos que tener la capacidad de saber escuchar al pueblo y trabajar para resolver los problemas reales y concretos de la gente”, aseguró Diego Indycki en la charla que se realizó el miércoles 24 de mayo en la sede de ATE Quilmes, organizada por el espacio político y social “Comunidad Quilmes”.
Tras las palabras de bienvenida de Diego Indycki (presidente de la Unión Nacional de Clubes de Barrio PBA y de Comunidad Quilmes) y de Clarisa Pérez, (secretaria gremial de ATE Quilmes), expusieron el Licenciado Sacha Kun Sabó (antropólogo, miembro honorario de la APDH y rector de la Fundación Universitaria Popular de Escobar FUPE), Norma Morales (secretaria adjunta de la Unión de Trabajadores de la Economía Popular UTEP), Diego Bartalotta (subsecretario de Economía Social y Popular de la municipalidad de Avellaneda), ambos integrantes de la mesa nacional de Somos Barrios de Pie, y Florencia Bravo (UTEP Evita Quilmes).
Sabó inició su exposición haciendo un repaso del modelo neoliberal instaurado por la última dictadura cívico militar, que en estas cuatro décadas y salvo breves períodos, ha seguido vigente y que hoy limita las posibilidades de un gobierno nacional y popular a la hora de tomar medidas de mayor inclusión social y mejor distribución del ingreso. En este sentido, el rector de la FUPE destacó que “el mayor desafío actual para el campo nacional y popular es poder generar las condiciones para que ningún argentino “esté por debajo de la línea de la pobreza ni le falte la comida en la mesa”.
Por su parte, Bartalotta remarcó que en los últimos años, la dirigencia política se alejó de la gente y de los barrios, y que las políticas públicas deben volver a salir de la participación y debate con las bases y los vecinos. “Muchas veces escuchamos a funcionarios decir que “bajan” al territorio, como si vinieran de otro planeta, cuando nuestra obligación como militantes cuando tenemos una responsabilidad de gestión es estar junto al pueblo, escucharlos y trabajar de manera mancomunada”, aseguró. En este mismo sentido, Bravo y Morales destacaron el rol de las dirigentes sociales y los movimientos populares, y el importante rol que cumplen en los barrios, y que muchas veces no tienen el reconocimiento que se merecen.
Finalmente, Indycki agradeció a los expositores y a todos los presentes que colmaron el salón de ATE Quilmes, y destacó que “es importante generar estos espacios de diálogo y debate político para ver qué país, que provincia y qué ciudad queremos. No hay nadie que sea el dueño de la verdad absoluta; tenemos que tener la capacidad de saber escuchar al pueblo y trabajar para resolver los problemas reales y concretos de la gente. Ver de qué manera vamos a generar más trabajo, que haya mejor salud y educación, una mayor seguridad, más infraestructura para que los barrios tengan los servicios básicos, un mejor ambiente y que se les de el lugar que se merecen a las instituciones sociales, los clubes de barrio y las entidades de bien público que trabajan en silencio cada día para dar respuestas a la comunidad en aquellos lugares donde el Estado no llega”.
Estuvieron presentes Susana Cano, subsecretaria de Articulación Federal del ministerio de Seguridad de la Nación, Ricardo Terrizano, secretario general de SOEMQUIL, Claudio Rial, presidente de la UNCB, Rocío Vera, presidenta de la Mesa de Género de la UNCB, Rafael Irigoiti, presidente de la UNCB La Plata y director de Fortalecimiento Institucional del Ministerio de Desarrollo Social de la Nación, Graciela Gómez, concejal MC de Quilmes, César Vilchez, secretario de Prensa de ATE Quilmes, entre otros dirigentes, vecinxs y militantes sociales y políticos del distrito.
