Juegos Bonaerenses: Por segundo año consecutivo, Lomas de Zamora es el campeón
Culminó la Final Provincial 2023 luego de cinco días de competencia, en los que los más de 35 mil finalistas representaron a sus distritos en el certamen deportivo y cultural más importante de la Provincia.
La delegación de Lomas de Zamora, al igual que en 2022, se quedó nuevamente con los Juegos Bonaerenses al obtener 38 medallas de oro, 15 de plata y 11 de bronce. En el segundo puesto quedó General Pueyrredón con 36 de oro, 23 de plata y 15 de bronce. El tercer lugar lo obtuvo 31 de oro, 24 de plata y 12 de bronce.
Más de 35 mil finalistas de los 135 distritos de la Provincia pasaron por la ciudad de Mar del Plata para la etapa final de los Juegos Bonaerenses. Se desarrollaron cientos de eventos deportivos y culturales en más de 70 escenarios desde el 15 al 20 de septiembre.
En este último día de competencia se llevaron adelante mayoritariamente las finales de los deportes grupales tales como handball, vóley, rugby, fútbol y hockey, entre otros.
El club Pueyrredón fue escenario de las finales de Rugby en sus tres categorías. En Masculino sub 14 la medalla de oro se la quedó San Miguel, la de plata Chacabuco y la de bronce Almirante Brown. En sub 16 Masculino ganó el municipio de Pilar, seguido de Lomas de Zamora y Azul. En sub 16 Femenino el podio quedó conformado por Almirante Brown, Suipacha y Pergamino, respectivamente.
Yeselin Velazco, integrante del equipo de Almirante Brown que se llevó el oro, declaró: “Lo que sentí cuando gané la medalla fue felicidad porque nos costó mucho el lugar en donde estamos. Este triunfo es increíble porque nunca pensé arribar hasta acá”.
Otra de las disciplinas que culminó fue Handball, y aquí en la categoría Masculino sub 18 ganó el municipio de Morón; General San Martín quedó en segundo lugar y Campana en tercero. En Masculino sub 16 el oro se lo adjudicó General San Martín, la plata fue para Tapalqué y el bronce para Lomas de Zamora. En tanto, en las categorías de Femenino, el podio de la sub 18 lo lideraron Lanús, seguido de San Nicolás y General San Martín; y el de sub 16 fue conformado por San Miguel, La Matanza y Necochea, respectivamente.
“Nos preparamos mucho para llegar a los Bonaerenses. Hasta hicimos doble turno de entrenamiento, así que estamos muy contentos por la medalla a pesar de no haber salido primeros”, expresó Fausto Villalba de Campana tras ganar el bronce en la categoría Masculino sub 18.
En cuanto a Beach Vóley, el oro de la categoría Universitario Maculino se lo volvió a llevar Florencio Varela y el podio lo completaron Carmen de Areco e Ituzaingó respectivamente. Franco Curuchet fue parte de la dupla varelense que ganó la competencia por tercer año consecutivo. “Hoy mostramos nuestra mejor versión de juego en el último partido, nos costó un montón, la remamos, la peleamos y supimos salir de los momentos difíciles”, afirmó el joven y agregó: “El esfuerzo que hicimos se pone en valor cuando uno gana y termina porque, más allá de los resultados, uno se lleva cosas más en lo humano que lo deportivo”.
En Voley Femenino sub 15 se coronó el municipio de Dolores, el segundo puesto lo obtuvo Pergamino y el tercero Morón. “Cuando me dieron la medalla sentí mucha emoción, estamos muy felices”, expresó Josefina luego de recibir el galardón de oro y concluyó: “Los Juegos Bonaerenses son una oportunidad buenísima para un montón de deportistas, poder representar a mí ciudad es una emoción increíble”.
Por su parte, las disciplinas culturales tuvieron su jornada de cierre. En Artes Plásticas las preseas de oro en Dibujo fueron para Florencio Varela (sub 15), Tres Lomas (sub 18), Berazategui (Adultos Mayores), Coronel Suárez (PCD) y Chascomús (Universitaria).
En Objeto Tridimensional para General Lamadrid (sub 15), Vicente López (sub 18), Bragado (AM), Moreno (Universitario).
En Pintura para Lomas de Zamora (sub 15), Ituzaingó (sub 18), Berazategui (Adultos Mayores), Almirante Brown (Universitario) y La Matanza (PCD).
Narración Oral tuvo su presentación en la Sala Payro. Allí, personas con discapacidad llegaron con sus relatos ante un teatro lleno. Las medallas fueron para Benito Juarez, Pergamino y Almirante Brown.
Así culminó una nueva edición del certamen deportivo y cultural más importante de la Provincia, que desde su etapa municipal tuvo 455.016 inscriptos de los cuales fueron a Mar del Plata para la Etapa Final más de 35 mil. A lo largo del año miles de juveniles, personas con discapacidad, adultos mayores, personas trasplantadas; estudiantes universitarios y terciarios participaron en las más de 100 disciplinas que forman parte de la competencia.
