Massa y Mayra inauguraron el Parque de La Ribera de Quilmes
La intendenta de Quilmes, Mayra Mendoza, inauguró este jueves junto al ministro de Economía de la Nación y candidato a Presidente por Unión por la Patria (UP), Sergio Massa, el Parque de La Ribera, una obra que recupera un espacio histórico de paseo y recreación para los vecinos y vecinas de la ciudad. En el acto, también estuvo presente Gabriel Katopodis, ministro de Obras Públicas de la Nación.
En la apertura, la Jefa comunal aseguró que la transformación en Quilmes es posible: “Hemos demostrado que el Municipio puede funcionar y queremos que este proyecto de trabajo tenga continuidad. No se trata de una aventura personal o un destino individual, esto siempre es un proyecto colectivo y de la comunidad, por eso quiero que nos elijan este 22 de octubre con más contundencia de lo que sucedió en las PASO, no por lo que hicimos, sino sobre todo por lo que falta hacer”.
En este sentido, Mayra sostuvo que Massa es el candidato que garantiza las obras: “Hace un par de días, Sergio, me alentabas con los polideportivos, me decías que voy a llegar a 15 como hiciste vos en Tigre, y no confío por confiar. Confío, entre otras cosas, por esta realidad que estamos inaugurando hoy acá. Confío porque anteayer cumpliste con eliminar el impuesto a las ganancias a los trabajadores, confío porque cumpliste otra promesa devolviendo el IVA a quienes más lo necesitan cuando hacen sus compras, confío porque dijiste que un nuevo acuerdo con el FMI no iba a poner a los jubilados como variable de ajuste y sostenemos los medicamentos gratuitos y les recompusiste sus ingresos después de la devaluación a la que nos obligaron con los bonos”.
“Por muchas razones confío en vos, Sergio, y les pido a mis vecinos y vecinas de La Ribera, por este parque, y a los de todo Quilmes por todo lo que hemos hecho y fundamentalmente por lo que vamos a seguir haciendo, no solo que me den la oportunidad de seguir siendo su Intendenta, sino que me ayuden haciendo desde aquí el aporte para que Axel Kicillof siga siendo nuestro gobernador y para que Sergio Massa sea el próximo presidente, que son la única oportunidad que tenemos para que Quilmes siga elevando su piso de dignidad”, afirmó Mayra.
Por su parte, Massa indicó: “Gracias Mayra por darme la oportunidad de compartir esta fiesta con toda la comunidad de Quilmes y poder contársela a los argentinas y argentinas. Estas son las obras que van a volver a transformar a Quilmes en la Perla del Sur, ese lugar que abandonaron por malas gestiones, que les quitaron el orgullo a los quilmeños, y que obras como estas se lo van a devolver. Esa es la tarea para los próximos cuatro años, terminar de recorrer el camino que vuelva a poner a Quilmes en el lugar que alguna vez supo tener”.
El candidato a Presidente por UP sostuvo: “Eso se construye en el tiempo, con una visión estratégica, pero además con el coraje para transformar en realidad los sueños. Este lugar transformado en este parque lo que muestra es que hay alguien que tuvo la capacidad de soñar y sobre todo tuvo el coraje de hacerlo realidad para que miles de vecinos de Quilmes puedan venir a disfrutar de la costa y recuperen la cara de Quilmes al río definitivamente, y eso tiene un valor enorme. Estoy convencido de que, como Quilmes, nuestra patria, si la pensamos, la soñamos y ponemos coraje para transformarla puede ser como este lugar que hoy estamos inaugurando. Nada ni nadie nos va a condicionar para hacer los cambios que Argentina necesita, para recuperar el ingreso, para apostar a nuestro desarrollo y para construir un país donde el trabajo y la producción sean los ejes del crecimiento”.
En este contexto, Katopodis aseguró: “Mayra, no estás dejando un solo barrio de esta querida ciudad que amás sin transformar, este parque es una demostración de eso, y es un anticipo. Es lo que Sergio viene mostrando, de manera indicativa, viene dando señales para que se entienda y se sienta cómo es la Argentina a partir del 10 de diciembre. Este parque habla mucho de eso, Mayra, porque a vos te tocó en estos cuatro años llegar con cloacas, con agua, con patrulleros, con Hospital Modular en la pandemia. Pero ahora estás llegando con una obra que habla del disfrute de la gente, con un parque de hermosa calidad que les permitirá a las familias disfrutar, vivir bien. El peronismo siempre garantiza ciudadanía básica, derechos, pero también felicidad y fiesta popular. Eso es lo que va a pasar a partir de hoy en este hermoso lugar”.
Ubicado en la calle Marinero López y la costa del Río de la Plata, el nuevo Parque de La Ribera se construyó en un predio de 6 hectáreas con espacios destinados al esparcimiento, deportes, juegos y recreación.
Cuenta con un skatepark, un anfiteatro, diferentes áreas de picnic, un patio con juegos infantiles para niños y niñas y otro pensado para adultos mayores con mesas de juegos. A su vez, dispone de un patio para realizar ejercicios aeróbicos, una bicisenda de 2.000 metros que recorre todo el parque y un sendero de 2.500 metros de extensión para que los vecinos y vecinas puedan caminar y disfrutar del espacio. Incluye baños, un sector de gastronomía y otros servicios.
La obra se enmarca dentro del programa “Parques Argentinos”, que impulsa la Secretaría de Obras Públicas del Ministerio de Obras Públicas de la Nación, con el objetivo de garantizar el derecho al espacio público de calidad, desde una perspectiva sustentable y de inclusión social, dotando de infraestructura a núcleos urbanos y propiciando el cuidado del ambiente.
Como parte de la inauguración del nuevo parque, y celebrando también el Día de la Primavera y del Estudiante, se realizó una nueva edición del festival “Somos Quilmes”, con música en vivo, foodtrucks y exhibiciones en el skatepark.
Estuvieron presentes funcionarios nacionales, provinciales y del Gabinete Municipal, representantes de instituciones, organizaciones gremiales, vecinos y vecinas.
