Julián Álvarez juró como intendente de Lanús, en el marco de una nueva sesión especial del Honorable Concejo Deliberante, llevada a cabo en la explanada del Municipio.
“Por los vecinos y vecinas de Lanús que nos acompañaron con su voto, por los compañeros y compañeras de militancia, en especial por aquellos que nos acompañaron por todos los barrios en estos ocho años y hoy no pueden estar porque partieron a la eternidad. Por la memoria de Néstor Kirchner y por Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, ¡sí, juro!”, expresó Julián Álvarez, en el acto formal, que contó con la presencia de los 24 concejales del distrito.
Estuvo presente la intendenta quilmeña, Mayra Mendoza, quien señaló: «este es el comienzo de un gobierno municipal con un Estado presente y con un compañero como Julián que va a trabajar para construir la ciudad que las y los lanusenses se merecen».
Acompañaron la jura el diputado nacional, Máximo Kirchner; el senador nacional, Eduardo Wado De Pedro; la intendenta de Quilmes, Mayra Mendoza; el ministro de Salud bonaerense, Nicolás Kreplak; la ministra de Ambiente de la Provincia, Daniela Vilar; el intendente electo de Lomas de Zamora, Federico Otermín; el intendente de Mercedes, Juan Ignacio Uztarroz; Gastón Granados, intendente de Ezeiza; el intendente electo de Brandsen, Fernando Raitelli; la diputada nacional, Natalia Zaracho; y el senador provincial, Emmanuel González Santalla; entre otros dirigentes nacionales, provinciales y municipales.
