Kicillof encabezó la inauguración del primer Centro Universitario de Punta Indio
Además, el Gobernador firmó el convenio de inicio de obras para la pavimentación y el ensanche de un tramo de la ruta 36, junto al administrador general de Vialidad, Hernán Y Zurieta.
En el marco del programa Puentes, el gobernador de la provincia de Buenos Aires, Axel Kicillof, encabezó este jueves el acto de inauguración del primer centro universitario de Punta Indio con el intendente local, Leonardo Angueira; el jefe de Asesores, Carlos Bianco; y administrador general de Vialidad, Hernán Y Zurieta. Además, firmó el convenio que da inicio a las obras de ensanche y pavimentación de la ruta provincial 36 y recorrió el Centro Espacial Punta Indio (CEPI) junto al ministro de Ciencia, Tecnología e Innovación de la Nación, Daniel Filmus, quien presentó una inversión de $327.600.000 para la construcción del Centro de Interpretación, Divulgación y Formación Aeroespacial (CIDyFA).
“Con este programa estamos abordando una situación muy injusta que afecta a miles de bonaerenses que no pueden llevar adelante sus estudios superiores porque las universidades están a cientos de kilómetros”, explicó Kicillof y agregó: “Si las pibas y los pibes no pueden acercarse a la universidad, entonces es la universidad la que tiene que acercarse a ellos”.
En ese sentido, el Gobernador señaló que “apuntamos a que todos y todas puedan estudiar en la localidad en la que nacieron, cerca de sus familias y con posibilidades de desarrollo profesional”. “Es una decisión para distribuir mejor los recursos y los ingresos en la provincia, en donde no nos podemos permitir que jóvenes brillantes, con capacidad y ganas, no accedan a la universidad”, añadió.
A partir de una inversión de $15 millones, se puso en marcha el centro tras la restauración y el acondicionamiento de las que fueran las instalaciones del antiguo cine de Pipinas, donde se construyeron dos aulas, un auditorio para 150 estudiantes, un área de servicios, sanitarios y oficinas administrativas. Asimismo, se destina un presupuesto de $52 millones para el dictado de dos carreras: la Tecnicatura Universitaria en Operación y Mantenimiento en Redes Eléctricas y el Tramo de Formación Pedagógico.
En tanto, Bianco indicó que “el objetivo del programa Puentes es llevar la educación universitaria a todo el territorio de la provincia de Buenos Aires”. “Garantizar la oferta académica permite no solo que los pibes y las pibas tengan una vida más próspera, sino que implica una mejora para toda la sociedad: los países más desarrollados son los que apostaron por la educación, la ciencia y la innovación”, manifestó.
Por su parte, el intendente Angueira remarcó que “este Centro Universitario es en beneficio de toda la comunidad de Punta Indio, ya que brinda la posibilidad de llegar a la educación superior y desarrollarse profesionalmente”. “Junto con la Provincia, generamos políticas públicas que tienen que ver con el desarrollo de un Estado presente que garantiza derechos y promueve la igualdad para todos y para todas”, dijo.
La institución brindará herramientas técnicas para potenciar a las y los profesionales en articulación con el desarrollo de una parte del proyecto Tronador II presentado por la Comisión Nacional de Actividades Espaciales (CONAE) en 2014. En ese sentido, las autoridades recorrieron junto al ministro Daniel Filmus la nave principal del Centro Espacial Punta Indio, que desde su inauguración se especializa en la manufactura, integración, ensayo y lanzamiento de vehículos experimentales.
Allí se constituirá el CIDyFA, en el marco del Programa Federal “Construir Ciencia”. “Seguimos sumando centros de divulgación que cuenten la ciencia que se produce en el país y atraigan futuras generaciones. No solo será de interés para el turismo sino para las comunidades escolares, que quizás en un futuro, elijan una carrera científica”, expresó Filmus y resaltó que “este Centro articulará con la UNLP y fomentará las actividades espaciales. Tener un espacio dedicado al sector es apostar a una actividad en crecimiento en Argentina, que, además, es indispensable que se formen y se especialicen”.
Firma de convenio de obras en la ruta 36
Durante la jornada, el Gobernador suscribió el convenio que da inicio a las obras en las que se invertirán $3.845 millones para la rehabilitación de calzada, ensanche y pavimentación de banquinas de la ruta 36, en el tramo de 26 kilómetros comprendido entre el acceso a la localidad de Verónica y la intersección con la ruta 11.
“La repavimentación de esta ruta tiene que ver con la decisión política de volver a poner en valor la distribución de los recursos, a través de una buena ruta y del desarrollo turístico”, destacó Y Zurieta, al tiempo que valoró que “es una decisión de la Provincia que contempla tanto las necesidades de la comunidad como las potencialidades de desarrollo de la región”.
El proyecto puesto en marcha apunta a brindar mayor seguridad vial en un corredor fundamental para el turismo bonaerense. Contempla la construcción de un sistema integral compuesto por un acceso canalizado a Pipinas; el mejoramiento y extensión de la colectora hacia el ingreso al CEPI; tareas de iluminación, intervenciones hidráulicas y señalización. Prevé además la repavimentación de la pista de la Base Aeronaval de Punta Indio (BAPI), clave para el desarrollo de la localidad de Verónica.
Al respecto, Kicillof resaltó que “esta obra requiere una inversión muy grande que solo el Estado puede impulsar para mejorar la calidad de vida de los vecinos y vecinas de Punta Indio y de la región”. “Forma parte de la historia de una ciudad que se reconstruye, se reinventa, y en la que vamos a seguir invirtiendo para que se consolide como un complejo universitario, científico y espacial”, concluyó.
Participaron de las actividades la ministra de Gobierno, Cristina Álvarez Rodríguez; el ministro de Producción, Ciencia e Innovación Tecnológica, Augusto Costa; el director ejecutivo del Consejo Provincial de Coordinación con el Sistema Universitario y Científico, Juan Brardinelli; el jefe de Gabinete de la Dirección General de Cultura y Educación, Pablo Urquiza; la legisladora bonaerense Lucía Iañez; la secretaria adjunta de SUTEBA Punta Indio, Soledad Reyes; y representantes de la UNLP y UTN.
