Kicillof inauguró el edificio del Archivo Provincial de la Memoria
El gobernador de la provincia de Buenos Aires, Axel Kicillof, encabezó este jueves en la ciudad de La Plata el acto de inauguración de la nueva sede del Archivo Provincial de la Memoria (APM), emplazado donde funcionó el Destacamento 101 de Inteligencia, base de operaciones del accionar represivo de la última dictadura cívico militar. Fue junto al ministro de Justicia y Derechos Humanos, Julio Alak; el secretario de Derechos Humanos de la Nación, Horacio Pietragalla; el subsecretario de Derechos Humanos bonaerense, Matías Moreno; el director del APM, Guillermo Clarke; y la madre de Plaza de Mayo Herenia Sánchez de Viamonte.
En ese marco, Kicillof destacó: “Este archivo es el resultado de un trabajo conjunto, en el que familiares de las víctimas del terrorismo de Estado donaron registros fílmicos y documentos históricos que son muy importantes para dar cuenta de lo que ocurrió durante la última dictadura”.
“Con la construcción de este edificio estamos profundizando el trabajo que comenzamos hace cuatro años para fortalecer las políticas de Memoria, Verdad y Justicia”, expresó el Gobernador. “Como hicimos con este lugar en el que funcionó el accionar represivo, nos encargamos de poner en valor todos y cada uno de los espacios de la memoria”, añadió.
El APM fue creado en 2020 a partir de una decisión del gobernador Kicillof. “Este lugar será el acervo documental de lo ocurrido durante la última dictadura cívico militar, dando cumplimiento a una norma que estaba vigente en la provincia de Buenos Aires pero que no había sido ejecutada, como es la Ley del Registro Único de la Verdad”, señaló Moreno.
Con una inversión de $136 millones la nueva sede cuenta con 630 metros cuadrados distribuidos en cinco plantas. Posee áreas específicas para el ingreso, limpieza, conservación y guarda documental; espacios de análisis y digitalización; y salas de consulta para garantizar el acceso de todos los y las bonaerenses.
Por su parte, Pietragalla expresó: “Esta inauguración tiene una significación muy especial: nos encontramos reafirmando las políticas de Memoria, Verdad y Justicia en un momento en el que vuelven a escucharse discursos negacionistas y de odio”. “Buenos Aires fue la provincia con mayor cantidad de detenidos desaparecidos y hoy se transforma en una fortaleza para resguardar los archivos y el legado de muchos compañeros que ya no están con nosotros”, afirmó.
En tanto, Sánchez de Viamonte indicó: “Me emociono mucho cada vez que veo que, 46 años después, seguimos luchando. No sabemos qué va a pasar de aquí en más en nuestro país, pero sí tenemos la seguridad de que en la capital de la provincia de Buenos Aires seguirán defendiendo las políticas de Derechos Humanos”.
A continuación, Kicillof y Alak recorrieron el predio del primer campo recreativo del Servicio Penitenciario Bonaerense (SPB), un espacio destinado al encuentro de los miembros en actividad y retirados de la fuerza. Cuenta con 12 hectáreas con un salón para fiestas y eventos; área de cocina y servicios; quincho y vestuarios; parrillas; canchas de fútbol y para la práctica de otros deportes, esparcimiento y recreación. Se prevé además la terminación de la pileta de natación con sus vestuarios; área de juegos infantiles; canchas de tenis, paddle; quinchos y polideportivo.
Participaron de las actividades el jefe de Asesores del Gobernador, Carlos Bianco; las ministras de Gobierno, Cristina Álvarez Rodríguez; y de Mujeres, Políticas de Género y Diversidad Sexual, Estela Díaz; la presidenta del Instituto Cultural, Florencia Saintout; la legisladora bonaerense Natalia Sánchez Jáuregui y su par Juan Malpeli.
También estuvieron presentes la subsecretaria de Transparencia Institucional del Ministerio de Justicia y Derechos Humanos, Ana Laura Ramos; los subsecretarios de Política Penitenciaria, José González Hueso; de Políticas Penitenciarias de Inclusión, Diego Rao; de Técnica, Administrativa y Legal, Santiago Ávila; el director provincial de Acción Social del SPB, Jesús del Giorgio; el jefe del SPB, Xavier Areses; y el subjefe Javier Cáceres; y el coordinador del Espacio para la Memoria Ex Comisaría 5ta., Leonardo Fossati.
