Kicillof inauguró la nueva sala de internación clínica del Hospital Isidoro Iriarte de Quilmes
El gobernador de la provincia de Buenos Aires, Axel Kicillof, encabezó esta mañana junto al ministro de Salud, Nicolás Kreplak, y la intendenta de Quilmes, Mayra Mendoza, el acto de inauguración de la sala de internación clínica del Hospital Isidoro Iriarte. Además, recorrió los avances de las obras que se llevan adelante en la institución para sumar infraestructura sanitaria y suscribió un convenio para fortalecer las políticas de salud mental en el municipio.
En ese marco, Kicillof destacó que “para nosotros es un orgullo que, allí donde durante muchos años hubo una obra abandonada, ahora haya consultorios, atención, camas e infraestructura del sistema de salud público”. “Esta es una inversión que no se recupera con un voucher o una cuota: esta es una inversión que se recupera cuando le mejora la salud a los vecinos y las vecinas de Quilmes”, añadió.
El hospital Iriarte es una referencia para más de 600 mil bonaerenses. Allí se destina una inversión de $818 millones para su puesta en valor; la mejora en los accesos; la remodelación de la sala de internación pediátrica; y la construcción de un Centro Comunitario de Salud Mental. Durante su visita, el Gobernador también suscribió un convenio para el fortalecimiento de la red de dispositivos de salud mental y consumos problemáticos.
Por su parte, la intendenta Mendoza remarcó: “Junto con el gobierno provincial asumimos el compromiso de realizar las obras de infraestructura que los vecinos y vecinas demandan hace muchos años”. “Es con un Estado presente que estamos cumpliendo con esa premisa que lleva dignidad a todas las localidades del distrito y que apunta a garantizar un futuro mejor a las próximas generaciones”, agregó.
Durante la jornada, Kicillof y Mendoza recorrieron también los avances de las obras de pavimentación que se llevan a cabo en el barrio La Unión. Con una inversión de $1.811 millones, los trabajos alcanzan un total de 86 cuadras, se ejecutan de forma sectorizada e incluyen obras hidráulicas, alumbrado y mobiliario urbano.
“Es el Estado el que llega para saldar una deuda de muchos años con los y las bonaerenses que viven en el barrio La Unión: los problemas aquí no se arreglan con ajuste, sino con políticas públicas que traigan pavimento, luces y obras hidráulicas”, aseguró el Gobernador y añadió: “Forma parte de una decisión que tomamos el primer día y que ya nos permitió asfaltar 13 mil calles de tierra en distintos municipios del conurbano”.
Por último, Kicillof resaltó que “es mucho lo que se ha hecho, pero es mucho también lo que todavía falta y no lo vamos a lograr privatizando o arancelando la salud y la educación”. “En todos los barrios nos piden más asfaltos, más escuelas y más hospitales. Nuestro pueblo sabe lo que necesita y lo que quiere: un Estado presente que garantice más infraestructura y dignidad”, concluyó.
Participaron también de las actividades la subsecretaria Salud Mental, Consumos Problemáticos y Violencias, Julieta Calmels; los directores provinciales de Hospitales, Juan Riera, y de Servicios Auxiliares, Lucas Solimano; el secretario de Salud de Quilmes, Jonatan Konfino. y su par de Desarrollo Urbano y Obras Públicas, Ceci Soler; y el director del Hospital Iriarte, José Manuel Pepe.
