Massa y Ferraresi presentaron “Avellaneda 2030”, el proyecto para ser ciudad sede del Mundial Centenario
El intendente de Avellaneda, Jorge Ferraresi, y la jefa de Gabinete, Magdalena Sierra, recibieron al ministro de Economía y candidato presidencial de Unión por la Patria, Sergio Massa, para encabezar el acto de lanzamiento oficial del proyecto de obras que llevará adelante el municipio con el objetivo de impulsar su candidatura para ser ciudad sede de la Copa Mundial de Fútbol 2030.
“Los grandes desafíos requieren de mucho coraje, valentía, de una mirada transformadora y la capacidad de soñar que pone a Avellaneda en las puertas de ser sede”, destacó Massa y siguió: “Eso tiene que ver con un intendente como Ferraresi, quien se anima a soñar y a hacer”. “En Avellaneda tienen uno de los mejores intendentes de la Argentina”, sostuvo el Ministro.
“La tierra de los Campeones del Mundo quiere ser sede, y respaldamos Avellaneda 2030 porque es la Capital Nacional del Fútbol, porque tiene infraestructura y capacidades”. En ese sentido, Massa detalló los proyectos a concretarse en nuestra ciudad. Anunció el financiamiento de un nuevo centro de entrenamiento; una nueva estación de tren en la zona de los estadios; la reactivación del ramal de pasajeros del Tren del Este, que unirá directamente Puerto Madero, Caminito y Avellaneda; y la construcción del puente Roca-Patricios. “Tienen por delante un proyecto único como ciudad y tienen quien lo lidere”, agregó.
Por su parte Ferraresi, agradeció la gestión de Magdalena Sierra para que Avellaneda sea declarada Capital Nacional del Fútbol por Ley 27.593 en noviembre de 2020. Y detalló las características que hacen de Avellaneda la Capital del Deporte, porque cuenta con 16 polideportivos municipales y otros tres en construcción, 120 clubes de barrio y 28800 deportistas, entre otras particularidades.
También, puso en valor el rol de Massa y su compromiso con lo público, y agradeció la convocatoria de Lammens para trabajar y fortalecer la candidatura conjunta de Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay y Chile a organizar el Mundial Centenario.
“Sergio como Presidente de la Nación va a coronar la sede Argentina y que Avellaneda sea sede”, manifestó Ferraresi.
El acto contó con la participación del presidente del HCD, Hugo Barrueco, representantes de todos los clubes de fútbol de Avellaneda, ex jugadores, además de funcionarios nacionales y locales, dirigentes de la Asociación del Fútbol Argentino y del Consorcio “Argentina-Chile- Uruguay-Paraguay 2030”.
La presentación se realizó en el Polideportivo Gatica de Villa Domínico y contó con la participación del ministro de Turismo y Deportes de la Nación, Matías Lammens, el secretario General de Independiente, Daniel Seoane, y el presidente de Racing, Víctor Blanco.
