Katopodis, Tolosa Paz y Mayra Mendoza inauguraron un Centro de Desarrollo Infantil
A través del Programa de Infraestructura del Cuidado el Ministerio de Obras Públicas, en articulación con el de Desarrollo Social, construye 500 de estos centros en toda la Argentina.
El ministro de Obras Públicas, Gabriel Katopodis, junto a la ministra de Desarrollo Social, Victoria Tolosa Paz, y la intendenta de Quilmes, Mayra Mendoza, inauguraron un Centro de Desarrollo Infantil en el barrio Quilmes Este.
En ese sentido, Katopodis señaló: “Hoy estamos inaugurando la obra 2.903, un nuevo Centro de Desarrollo Infantil para Quilmes. Son 500 espacios de cuidado que estamos construyendo con la misma calidad para igualar oportunidades en toda la Argentina”.
El nuevo Centro de Desarrollo Infantil está ubicado en la calle Alberdi, entre General Paz y Belgrano, del barrio de Quilmes Este de la localidad. Cuenta con una superficie cubierta de 220 m2 y con una capacidad de 45 niños y niñas por turno.
Tendrá, además, un patio arquitectónico que se desarrolla en un solo nivel y distintas salas según las edades: una sala maternal (de 45 días a 1 año) y lactario, una sala de deambuladores (1 año a 2 años), salas para niños y niñas de 2 a 4 años- adaptables para funcionar de comedor, y espacios lúdicos con juegos infantiles.
Esta obra, que contó con $42 millones de inversión, permitirá brindar asistencia nutricional, estimulación temprana y psicomotricidad a la comunidad cercana, igualando oportunidades para la primera infancia y reduciendo las brechas existentes de pobreza, género, distribución territorial y de acceso a espacios de desarrollo infantil, beneficiando a 90 niños y niñas.
La construcción de los Centros de Desarrollo Infantil se realiza en conjunto con el Ministerio de Desarrollo Social, con el objetivo de igualar oportunidades en la primera infancia y reducir las brechas existentes de pobreza, género y de distribución territorial en el acceso a espacios de desarrollo infantil.
En este sentido, se están construyendo 500 CDI en las 23 provincias del país, de los cuales 39 se encuentran finalizados, 313 están en ejecución, 40 a iniciar y 108 en proyecto.
En Quilmes, el Ministerio de Obras Públicas lleva adelante una inversión de $18.055 millones en obras y proyectos viales, de agua y saneamiento, gestión del riesgo hídrico, infraestructura urbana, rural y del cuidado, y del Plan Argentina Hace.
