El entrenador de la Selección argentina de fútbol para personas con parálisis cerebral habló en Cambio 21 radio sobre la obtención de la medalla dorada en los Juegos Juveniles Parapanamericanos de Bogotá.
“Nuestra idea con los juveniles es generar deportistas que luego puedan aportarle a la selección mayor. Para nosotros era importante el equipo y el proceso. Para uno como entrenador es buenísimo ganar pero el objetivo era otro. La conformación del plantel se dio por los torneos nacionales organizado por FADEPAC, es una selección federal que tiene deportistas de todos lados menos del interior”, dijo Sánchez en Cambio 21 radio (lunes a viernes a las 9 por UNCB Radio).
“Los deportistas son personas que tienen dificultades en el sistema nervioso, no solo incluye parálisis cerebral, hay deportistas con otro tipo de discapacidades. Esto le da mayor apertura a las personas con alguna discapacidad, le hace muy bien al deporte”, destacó el entrebador y agregó que “FADEPAC organiza torneos nacionales, todo aquel que quiera sumarse . Históricamente los clubes de barrios fueron los primero en apoyar a los deportistas. El deporte adaptado y paralitico permite competir en igualdad de condiciones”. “Luego de ganar el torneo un chico le dijo a su madre: “Es la primera vez que no me siento diferente a los otros”.
